It is a fact that porn addiction affects men and women in all areas of society. I am a Christian, and I have been struggling with porn addiction off and on for some years. When I was faced with PIED and how demoralizing that was, I finally decided to take this beast head on and win this fight once and for all. I know some of you don't believe in God, and I'm not here to preach to you. I believe that meditation and prayer can be an effective ally in our fight to beat porn addiction. For those of you that are Christian, I'm also doing a plan on the Bible app called: Overcome Porn: The 40 Day Challenge, along with my goal of a Hard mode reboot, and being on this forum. I'm on day 11 of the plan, and it has helped me spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. They explore many of the root causes of porn addiction, talk about accountability partners, give ways to avoid the many triggers we are faced each day, along with scriptures to give you strength for that day. What are your feelings regarding spiritual help when it comes to beating porn addiction? Is anyone else doing the same plan?

Thanks for sharing @TC6791, yeah I am also going through the same plan and on Day 7 so not too far behind you. It is an excellent reading plan and I was skeptical about it at first based on the lame title but I have been shocked at the level of practicality and brain chemistry it incorporates in each lesson. I might just repeat it once I finish it since there is a lot of depth to each lesson.

  3. Thanks for mentioning the plan. I’m going to try it, too. I also do prayer and meditation most mornings. I beg God every day to keep me away from P. I need all the help I can get.

Like they said in the plan, overcoming porn addiction is "one day at a time." We have to decide each day: "Today I will not look at porn." And then we need to celebrate each small victory.
We need to use all the tools afforded to us such as this forum, porn-blockers, accountability sites, spiritual plans, meditation, prayer, etc..., to help us on our fight. I pray that all of us become victorious over porn. Keep fighting the good fight guys!!
