It seams that most of us have been struggling with pmo since we where young teens in middle school, high school. I’m not blaming society but porn addiction should be discussed publicly. Just like drugs, alcohol, and wearing condoms. Sex Ed- never discourage us from watching porn.

When I started seeing porn I didn’t even know that it could be bad for you. I was simply curious about the act of reproduction. ( I was a science nerd that got distracted by pmo)

Yes, I agree. Most often the focus is on those involved in the making of porn. There is some discussion about its impact on underage viewing but on the whole it misses the destructive impact on those who are considered adult and able to make the right choices. Unfortunately as we all know, porn stops becoming a choice very early on. There needs to be more awareness of the devastating consequences we have all experienced.

    What should we do?

I don’t have the answer but I feel that part of my recovery should involve helping others avoid the porn trap in the first place.

    Any ideas?
