I don't know if you have the same issue that I have but basically I can't help myself but "collect" porn pictures. Somehow I'm afraid that I won't be able to get them ever again if I don't download it and the result is that I spend hours and hours scouting for those. That's what I did few hours earlier. I managed to delete everything that I got for this session after O but I hate myself for doing that. It's like I just can't stop.
How do you deal with that?

I never downloaded or "collected" porn pics. But I have to say, I have felt the FOMO in nofap. If I go a few weeks without porn the whispers in my head make me wonder if I am missing any new good porn. Not good.

My real FOMO is all the shit that I have missed out and that I may still be missing out due to this BS of an addiction.

hola siento que estes pasando por eso, pero te mereces creer que eres mucho mas fuerte y libre de lo que te sientes ahora mismo. T

  5. I get that. I totally get it. I collected magazines, then DVDs, and then internet images . . .and videos. With the magazines, you literally would never see that pictorial again . . . and I ended up with about 500 magazines (that's a lot of boxes!).
It's the same thing with digital images. I save them for easy access and I save them for fear that I might never find them again. (Or, I did - I'm about 6 months clean at this moment)
We attach ourselves to these images. We give them our power. We literally look at a particular image and think "I LOVE this photo. I NEED this photo to be okay. I would hate to lose this.

My hope for you is that eventually you will realize how destructive pornography is and you won't want anything to do with it. Porn takes more from you than it gives. It is making you unhappy, because it prevents you from being able to be happy without it.

But, until that time, know that the world of porn is endless. Let these images go. Delete them. Just for today. You may not find the exact same photo if you go looking for it later, but think about it, there are literally trillions of porn images out there. Today you can be free from porn. Those images will be there tomorrow if you choose to go back.

I totally get this. I hate nothing more than porn and what it does to me and my morals. But it just feel too powerful.
It feel like I'm a tiny dude and porn is a huge monster.

I wonder if I missed the ultimate clip from my favorite cam girls. And how they are doing. God I’m so delusional.

This sentence is relatable to every PMO addict.

I kept a homemade movie made with an ex-girlfriend for 35 years. I thought having it was great but it kept the urge and pain alive for way too long (33 years after breakup) It also kept the memory of a 21 year old that never aged alive, while my wife aged naturally. I destroyed the DVD ( I had transfer the tape to DVD years ago) earlier this year and I think that’s a huge reason why my nofap has been successful. Some Memories need to fade, it just was unnatural to have a tape to keep the memories alive forever. Letting it go was hard but one of the best things I ever did.

Letting go is an opportunity for you to appreciate what's coming ahead of you. You may look on the past because its part of who you are but, don't dwell on it. Honestly, I admire you for stepping out in your shadow. Try to create more memories with your wife while you still have the time and energy.

I get that to some extend. It's sometime hard to let go of the past.

I meant I hate myself for PMO, not deleting. I sometime can feel remorse deleting when I'm really horny and just remember what I got. But I know it's for the greater good.

Same, that's why I have a reddit account with countless of images saved. I also try not to forget names of P actresses I like, the latest one being one who looks exactly like my crush

Something I read a while ago is leaving PMO behind often involves changing our sexual expectations.

What does this mean? Instead of being used to seeing any body type, any view, any duration, etc. We must choose to have a sexual expectation more in line with our nature.

I'm talking about chance interactions with girls, flirting, dating, and 1 on 1 intimacy.

We may have expectations for certain fetish, or for sex to be available any time (click of the mouse), or for us to have availability to many 'partners' through our picture or video collections.

These offer novelty sure. But never fulfillment. Real intimacy might appear to be less than on the surface, but it is entirely more than PMO can offer.

@Reborn16 exactly. “P” isn’t real. Real intimacy is more complicated and messy. It’s not always there at a click of a mouse but it’s so much more rewarding. You have to learn to wait and savor every minute of it. No more instant gratification!! Somethings are worth waiting for. Learn to give instead of just taking.

Yes with the real intimacy you get awkward moments, different interests, but with this vulnerability comes more fulfillment without a doubt.

I would add the smaller things like smiling and flirting become a lot more enjoyable too!
