Porn and Sexual Anxiety

Oh boy...where should I start. I heard about NoFap quite a while ago listening to the savage love podcast. At the time I was slightly dismissive of it because my porn and sexual anxiety were not affecting my life the way they are currently. However, I did tuck the sites name and it's general profile in the back of my pysche thinking that it might be useful someday, and that someday is right now. For a long time I have been dealing with sexual anxiety, probably since I was 22yrs Old. I'm 29 now and married to the absolute love of my life. When we first got together the sexual anxiety was there however I was able to comparmentalize it at the time and move away from it. My girlfriend at the time and wife now and I have always had a very healthy sex-life. However, i'd always supplement with a tremendous amount of porn and masturbation. I always knew this was a problem, but I always wrote it off as something that "guys do". I was masturbating 10+ times per week even though we were having sex 2-3x per week. Too much masturbation I know. I masturbate/ed so much that I often would have trouble coming to completion. I have to mention that I have always thought of sex as something that was done on my own with a bright screen in front of me so much so that sometimes I would get a panic attack when my wife and I would try to have sex, and I'd "retreat" to put it mildly. So, I'm back at square one. The problem is back with a vengeance. I've got the sexual anxiety thing going at the same time I'm coming into the realization that I'm addicted to porn and how both things are connected. I'm just trying to dig myself out of this whole just like everyone else is. I want to use this site for support so I don't feel so damn lonely dealing with this, and to figure out how the hell to get myself unstuck.
