Porn coming to modern music

    It's a good thing that porn is coming to modern music. Porn needs to be talked about, openly, instead of giggling behind the metaphorical school shed (which was a literal school shed when I was a kid!).

    Bruce Hornsby has a sardonic piece called "Porn Hour", which popped into my feed today. It contains deliberate off-harmony notes. The lyrics contain a few humorous and, I think, ironic innuendos, e.g. "While she's busy, time to toss"; "We thank the hard boys and the naked girls / For the coming of our beautiful cyber world".

    The song unlikely to make the top ten, or even the top 100, but any progress is good.

    Yes there is song by Green Day called junkies on a high. He mentions how pornography is his pride. Not in a way to praise it but to show what society has become.

    I don't think it's wholesome for music to be pornified. Scary to me. I think raising awareness on a gigantic life devouring kraken is important though.
