Anyone else know what I mean ? It's as huge sexually exciting rush but then after I just feel board and disappointed and sometimes disgust After what I just looked at and got off too.
That's the dopamine rush from the orgasm followed by the comedown.
Is it possible to become desensitized to dopamine and not feel the dopamine rush anymore if you abuse masturbating to porn for many years?
“Devolution: the transfer or delegation of power to a lower level. The descent to a lower state; pass into ( a different state, esp. a worse one), degenerate.”Anyone else know what I mean ? I'm not a neuroscientist but my basic understanding of it is yes, it's possible to become so accustomed to certain stimuli that the potency goes down over time. This is what happens to drug addicts, and PMO addicts too, the former needing larger doses to receive the same high, the latter potentially escalating to more extreme porn genres to become aroused. Thankfully it is absolutely possible to reverse this by abstaining from the stimuli and replacing it with something healthier. I should also say that chemical responses to things are not inherently bad, they are how our brains are designed to work.
The damage to dopamine is irreversible even in a severe case that has seen several times a day and escalated to extreme things over 12 years?
Several times a day -- was it every single day ? and how many hours per day of porn?I've been disgusted for a week now, I don't receive them, I think maybe I did something that brought me back
the issue with this is you just want to fuck women when you do and pretty sure this is why we have so many porn addicts in the first place so you end up escalated permanently lolI'm not a neuroscientist but my basic understanding of it is yes, it's possible to become so accustomed to certain stimuli that the potency goes down over time.
