Porn Inspired me!

Now let me get this straight I do not support the porn industry in any way. In my opinion the world would be better without it. How ever I'm currently an addict and long story short I've just relapsed. At a point of horny weakness of the body fueled by negative emotions I went through my usual binge of looking pics of porn torrents and downloading the ones I find "good enough". Then casually strolling between what I've downloaded I was shocked. For the first time in my life I've found such profound porn. Now I won't tell you of course the name but all I can say is that it depicted everything I want from a sexual interaction. Both of the actors were very "beautiful" of course and had nearly flawless physique. Their sexual act was very passionate and sensual it looked like both of them are in the zone and enjoyed what they do. There was no objectification of women like in every other porn movie. Even from cinematographic point of view the camera didn't always show the penetration of the penis. Now why I say it inspired me is because even in such amoral industry, which has forsaken most largely accepted human values there could be something "good" (everything very relative). Personally, watching this jewel, it inspired me to resume my training to get even healthier body, pursue building a relationship with women so I could possibly enjoy the experience in the movie with a REAL woman and becoming a porn director. Ok, maybe without the last one :D Point of this thread is always look on the positive side of your past experiences there's no point delving in to the past banging our heads ooh I suck for doing "this". Here I am again scrubbing my hard drive and rewriting my goals again. Now I have done this many times in the past sometimes with good sometimes with bad results. But I don't care if i relapse dozen more times when there is will thrive I will go stronger with each experience and eventually live a fulfilling life. So stay strong my virtual brothers, we will overcome this addiction 1 step at a time!

There is a video that has a similar effect for me. It appears to be home made (single camera in a fixed position) and there is nothing but beauty, joy and passion. I get how that it can be inspiring to go out and have that for yourself, in real life.

It's highly unconventional, and I'll probably catch some criticism for this, but it might be helpful overall to give yourself permission to view this one video only. I think much of the damage of modern P is the endless and instantly available variety. If keeping one video that's meaningful to you helps you stay away from the torrent (pun intended) of porn out there, then maybe that tactic is worth a try.

It would be best, though, if you can let go of this video also. Keep the inspiration it gives you. My experience has been that the more sexually charged material I let go of, the better my results. I agree with you that part of that is also letting go of the unskillful things we did in the past.

Stay with it !! I and many, many others have observed that women respond to us much better after a month or so clean. This is true even for me... not at all a "hunk" and largely invisible to women my adult life.

One more thing: I've learned recently that women have an uncanny sixth sense for smelling out porn hounds... and they /really/ don't like it. I believe if you stay clean for a while, your dreams are not that far out of reach.

Hehe, man I already deleted it. The point of the thread was to change you attitude even when you made a mistake in the past. Let's not forget that watching the vid was an act of weakness from my part and act which I would not dare to do in the future since it does not resonate with the man I want to become. However I did watch it and tried to grasp the benefits. Keeping the vid would only make relapse more beacuse of chaser effect and subconscious jealousy of "not getting any". I would agree that I feel more energetic and women seem to notice me more when I don't fap. It may be a placebo effect from this whole community but even as a placebo your body adapts to how your brain feels, therefore if you feel more strong and disciplined by keeping your agreement to yourself to not masturbate, you undoubtfully feel better.

I used to like videos like that, too, where they show tenderness, leave some things up to imagination of the spectator and almost seem to make real love.

The objectification is probably not as bad. I say it's still there, but this could be a matter of definition. Regardless of that question the problem is that it will still take you away from reality in a manner that is way too forceful, a dopamine rush. It is like turning away from reality and living in a dream instead of making your dreams come true.

If you feel inspired that's good. It is also good to not hold grudges against anything. But I strongly suggest you to make that one big decision and cut porn out of your life completely.

EDIT: I see you are doing it right, good luck!

I understand exactly what you mean.

If there wasn't some perceived good we wouldn't be hooked on P. There is beauty and profound goodness in sexuality the problem is porn twists it. We're meant ( I think) to be participants in that sexual goodness. Not a disconnected third wheel.

Man, I didn't describe the scene itself with great detail. I just said what it looked like to me overall. You don't send an angry message every time you see a triggering add on the street do you? There are temptations all around us in every from we can't hide ourselves from them. But what we can do is be fully aware with our goals and not give in. I made this post because in my opinion is that it has certain wisdom to it. If u can't withstand such mildly triggering content I suggest you stop visiting no and walk blindfolded outside or just man up and not give in.
