Pornblocker for phone?

After looking at k9 website, it looks like they have a browser for phone http://www1.k9webprotection.com/getk9/download-software
try searching for k9 on app store.

 

I block all internet apps on my phone. It's an android and its called application protection. I just block youtube and all internet access completely. I couldn't find a good filter.

 

I've used the netnanny filter for my phone and it works pretty good. It's not awesome, but definitely better than nothing. Right now I am using a program called ever accountable. It doesn't block anything, but records everything you do and sends it to accountability partners you choose. I also limited the maturity rating on google play and got someone else to lock it with a pin number so I can't get any bad apps. So far it's helped a lot.

I too have this problem - it's fine when on home wifi as we have it all blocked, but it's too easy for me to switch my wifi off and turn my phone data on to access pornographic material.

 

Yeah, sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures. I did that for about a year. I blocked everything on my phone. Now I only have accountability software (that tells my AP if I disable it), but it works because I got over the worst of my addiction by completely blocking everything for a while.

 

I heard K9 isn't so good with protection from porn when it comes to phones. The best thing to do is simply switch back to a flip phone. But if you think it's a necessity such as using your GPS, internet, etc. then installing a porn blocker would be a really good idea. K9 works great with laptops; my brother installed it for me last month and I haven't watched porn videos ever since. However, he still needs to block some sites for me. I would recommend Mobicip; it's just as good as K9 for laptops. I installed and rel-installed the app to make sure it works well and it does. I saw some really good reviews for this app too. Most importantly, I HIGHLY recommend that you ask someone you trust (friend, sibling, etc.) about the installment and have THEM save the password and not YOU. There are other ways that you can do it yourself such as throwing out the password, but I'd rather let someone know about it because it makes you more accountable. And if you ever find sites that still offer porn images such as websites that sells DVDs (I won't tell you that for your own safety) ask them to block it immediately. But very soon, I'm going to ask my brother to re-install Mobicip for me and block out other websites. I hope I gave you some good advice. Good luck man.

 

I use opendns.com It will block any type of websites you want from your network including porn so no porn on any device.

 

Mu advice is: forgot smart phone, take and use "idiot" phone from 20 century. Our adiction and smart phones is a not good combination

 

I use Dolphin Browser and then turn off ALL images. It works well for me at least. Best of luck!

You may want to invest in Covenant Eyes and have an accountability partner monitor what you do online (I use this software myself and keeps the urges away). I believe it is approximately 10 dollars per month.
