"If you get your release to the same adult actress too many times I do believe you're going to become and you're supposed to become coz that's how we fucking maintain families addicted to that person for a period of time... So like gambling Facebook and Instagram when you use these things that are just meant to be entertainment whether it's erotic entertainment or whatever too much because of our biology you should really do some self-assessment and see if you're using this alcohol, this marijuana, this pornography, these known addictive substances for joy and release and satisfaction or if you've crossed the line into something that is going to damage your actual ability to have an appropriate intimate interpersonal relationship... As a pornographer, I make my money on people wanting to consume my content... I don't want to make my money because people are actually chemically addicted to me to the point that it's affecting their... real lives in their real ability to connect with people because what is life without other people? To me the answer is nothing".

I won't mention her name because it might trigger some but you can listen to her interview on the podcast Walk-Ins Welcome with Bridget Phetasy. She also talks about why she chose to do porn, the consequences of doing internet porn, and society's weird relationship with sex.

I mean, it's nice she's getting this message out there and I hope it makes her feel better. But, to be honest, it kind of reminds me of what off-license owners must tell themselves every time they sell to their many local obvious alcoholics. lol. Not that this is her fault, but porn addicts are an inevitable consequence of porn in its current state.

its like a drug dealer saying he does not want his customers addicted on the stuff he sells because its ethically wrong to abuse the addiction. Talking about it wont help. If one actually cares he stops selling. Knowing something is unethical wont make it any better. Only worse imo since they know what their way of making a living does to other people.

I would like to ask why are you listening to podcasts about pornstars though, be very careful.

Its true and who know better than who has experience in that industry and to be honest we to accept the truth that masturbation and watching porn never give anybody good results , so just be miles away from that worst stuff where people (specially women)
are showing off there naked body for some currency maybe there was some bad condition of women family , that's why they have to take that bad step. Otherwise women like to hide their precious body and allow only to their soulmate who they trust more than herself.

And yeah porn addiction leave you like a dead flash , the body will be less chemical disbalnce if you take herione , zombie or any powerful drug ... But if you lapse promptly. So it will be much higher than doing drugs.

Take care of your energy .
Take care of your streaks
Take care of your lovely family.

I really don't think it's a good idea to link things like this on here, I can guarantee that by doing so you'll have led at least one person down the P trail and that's not what this site should be about.

It keeps me surprising how women lack accountability, the level of denial and self gas lighting.
I'm quite sure in a decade or two the man who where watching this stuff will be blamed their problems as result of making porn, how they where the victim of the bad people using their product. The weren't responsible for the outcome of their actions.
just because one particular woman doesn't feel accountable in this one instance, doesn't mean that all of womenkind lacks accountability for their actions. Come on now. It has nothing to do with someone's sex. What about the male porn directors, cameramen and stars? lol. The content isn't just produced by her and she likely doesn't own it either. Not to mention that the VAST MAJORITY of porn companies and websites are owned by men.

I like Bridget Phetasy's podcast because she's non-partisan. She not afraid of criticising both the left and the right. I thought it was interesting she interviewed a pornstar on her podcast. Instead of judging people who are different to me, I think I should listen to those who have had a different experience from me. The world doesn't revolve around me.

How much better to heal than seek revenge from injury. Vengeance wastes a lot of time and exposes you to many more injuries than the first that sparked it. Anger always outlasts hurt. Best to take the opposite course. — Seneca

okay, just checking that you are not searching for podcasts about pornstars in general!

Isn't that rich? These animals have no self awareness. "Please my view content but don't view it if it's damaging, which it inherently is!".

She certainly has one view. Honestly I see it as the progression of a thought process which leads to sex with your own spouse in the confines of marriage. This includes the absence of porn.

Another take is she's saying have as many partners as possible. Chances are most of us who have issues with porn do not confine themselves to one person. I know I'd have so many tabs open my computer would freeze up.

This post reminds me of a big porn star who ended up quitting the porn industry, who now apparently despises the porn industry, and is upset with the degrading things she did in porn, and the terrible way she was treated in the porn industry.

When I listened to her and read a bit about her a few years ago, she was putting out a lot of messages about why porn is bad. I actually thought she had turned religious or something, or was just disgusted with the things that she used to do while in the porn industry.

But recently I discovered that this ex porn star decided to turn to onlyfans, and is making a complete fortune on onlyfans, making her own softcore porn content on onlyfans.

I have to say this makes me feel much less empathetic towards this ex porn star. Because it's like she never really cared about how porn was harming anyone other than herself. She hadn't really made a significant lifestyle change. She simply just hated the way she was treated in the porn industry. If she had been treated better, she probably would of liked the porn industry, and wouldn't of cared about how much pornographic content she was putting out. Because now she is pushing out tons of sexual content on her onlyfans, and she loves it. So she actually only cared about herself, she didn't care about how porn was harming others, but was only upset about her mistreatment in the porn industry.

Simply a hipocritic, unowrthy person, whoever you're describing.

Not everyone is capable of defending its rights once money comes into the road... "everyone hates the system until they're on top of it". There was Black Mirror episode about it... I wonder if this person is able to look into the mirror...

Tbh with you it wouldn't be as bad if she was only saying she hated the porn industry because of the treatment she experienced. But she was also saying why porn just isn't a good thing for anyone, and talking about all the degrading things that she done while in porn that is now out there on the internet forever.

But then you hear of her making softcore porn content on onlyfans. So she certainly doesn't hate porn and putting porn out there onto the internet. She just hates the treatment that the women in the porn industry experience. She doesn't actually care about porn it's self, and how it affects the viewer etc. Well that's how it comes across to me anyway.

Probably the majority of ex porn stars crying about the porn industry, I would probably say the majority of them only care about how they were treated, and the degrading content that is now online of them forever. I doubt the majority of them care about the viewer. Because I reckon the majority of them would happily make an onlyfans, which would suggests they only care about themselves. I'm not saying all ex porn stars are like this, but I would probably say the majority of them are like this.

On the plus side, if she's doing all her porn without going through the porn industry system then she will have a somewhat more personal relation with her fans. While I would not recommend anyone to go out of their way to comment on her videos, it would be a good opportunity for existing fans to respectfully explain their struggle (without going into the nitty gritty, that's what a place like this or a therapist is for) as they leave that place. This is provided she's actually conversing with her fans and not hiring out the commenting
