    Hi,
I have a problem and I dont know it is from porn or no, but whatever I am doing, there is still pressure to do it and to finish it fast. Some like urge or I dont know.
It doesnt matter if it is hobby, or work, it is still the same. The pressure and resistance to do it.
I am not here and now and I dont enjoy doing things. Even though things I choose for myself.
Each hobbies was finished in the same way. To do it fastly with urge without enjoying.
How to take this pressure off?
    Thanks

  2. What do you want to do after, or what do you think about when doing these things?

I think recognising it may be more than half the battle, so well done! I have a similar problem, I am always anxious about the things I am not making progress on. One thing that has really helped me is to schedule 'nuffink' days, days that I do not organise, have no todo list, just drift about either pottering or doing absolutely nothing. Learn to enjoy them.

You've made a simple but important observation. This is why people meditate and talk about present moment awareness. Our relationship with time tends to be rushing into the future, even delicious food ends up being eaten so fast that we don't taste it for very long. I was just reading a practical tip to have a little rule to pause, and take three breaths. Check in throughout the day whenever you do something like when you get up from the computer or something else you do on a regular basis.

But it comes down to the state of our mind. People around us tends to be in a rush and it's easy to be swept up with that. The basic rule of thumb though is to really focus on whatever you're doing and not worry about the next thing or what someone else wants. You can still take care of it after you take care of the present task at hand, the next thing or person having a demand will just have to wait a little longer, often times it doesn't even end up being that much more time anyway.

thanks.I think that it is also connected with procrastination inside of me.
On one side I am in rush to do my working tasks and on the other side I postpone this activities which products more urge and stress...the result is there is still stress and urge in both sides of this.
I am sitting in front of the PC with time rushing and do nothing.I postpone my work on later and when I do something it is in stress, very very fast to achieve to be finished...maybe there is a problem... I either do nothing during my working hours or do something in rush, there is still a stress only.
Maybe I sometimes procrastinate because it is better then doing in a rush?I dont know, which stress is worse..from procrastinating or from doing in rushing :-(

I feel the same, it's a long fight. Keep trying different techniques and working at it. Good luck

Sounds like you might want to check out all this mindfulness or mindfulness meditation, on how to enjoy the here and now, no matter how simple or mundane the task.

    for example:
I decided to watch TV series in order to improve my foreign language skills. And reality?I fastly watch it,next series and next to be fastly finished...not learning with quality, not stopping the video, repeat the sentences...but watch and watch and watch under stress until the last series and season...and the result?stress and no improvement, because I watched it without stoping and only with subtitles in my own language instead of foreign...only sound was foreign, no subtitles. Quantity without results instead of quality and slowly. 3 episodes a day, instead of one,or half with some results of improvement
