I relapsed after a week. Things were going pretty well, I had just gone for 20 days without a relapse. After I relapsed I started again and after a week here I was on Valentines. But... I woke up in the morning with my hand where it shouldnt have been and I had been doing something horrible while I was still asleep. The urges caused because of that were just impossible to overcome and a cold shower somehow made it worse. I'm really truly upset knowing I was starting to do so well. Oh well, what's done is done, I just needed to vent. Hope this doesnt happen to any of you, and if it ever does I know you can fight it and beat those urges!
That happened to me as well when I first started out. 99% of people can't go 100% cold turkey. Eventually you'll train your brain to the point where PMO / MO isn't even a part of your cycle anymore. I still sometimes get P cravings but they're quite weak and MO cravings even weaker. Keep going and it'll eventually get a lot easier!
I'd have to say he is. It always takes a couple weeks to get PMO completely out of your subconcious habits, the problem is avoiding triggers within the first week, but we just gotta be strong.
Don't beat yourself up over it man. It happens, and fretting about it isn't going to help you make it to your goal. Just start fresh with a steady mind and you can do it. And if you get the urges, well, there's a whole forum of people here willing to help you.
