  2. Thanks man! I'll be sure to keep my guard up for as long as I'm awake. The way this game works for me is that I'm not safe until I'm asleep, so I'm going to start taking sleep tea to help me fall asleep faster at a set time each day. All of my worst triggers happen right before bed, so I need to mentally prepare myself during the day. If I start the day strong, I know I'll finish strong as well!

    Thanks, man. Things are better. One day at a time, right? I am trying to communicate more, which has not always been the easiest for me.

    Ok. I'm in. I need to be more consistent in this than I have been. Reboot time.
     
  4. Day 2! Feeling really good so far. Staying consistent in my daily activities and starting to get into reading more. Brain fog kills my motivation to pick up a book, so I'm slowly starting to get used to them through NoFap and develop that life-long habit of always learning.

  5. Finishing day 2 strong! Had a full on busy day and am feeling ready for bed right now. Had sleep tea so I shouldn't be awake for any urges tonight. I wish the best for you guys as well! Keep on going! I have specific milestones in mind this year that I won't be able to achieve without being on NoFap, so having those is really going to help me this time around.
     
  6. Alright, day 3. My energy is coming back and I'm lovin it. My strategy for night time has been working great and I've plan on faithfully doing it tonight as well!

    Good job, man. Keep it up. I was busy all yesterday and didn't have any urges or slips, so I didn't come back to post, but I am still on board.

    Today (this morning) has been a struggle... But I am going to try to fight back and get through it.

    Day 5 completed.
    Need to be careful, these are the most risky days.
    Also, I will be humble this time. No Overconfidence, no searching for into about a movie.

    Yesss!!! We got this! One day at a time, fighting the same as the first! Idk about you guys, but I need that NoFap energy back or else I'm gonna regret the coming weeks! Let's conquer this stuff and move on to better things!

  10. Day 4! So far everything's been working great, and I've been falling asleep before the time at night that my triggers usually come at. When 10:30 rolls around, phone is off, alarm clock is set, and lights go out. The sleep tea isn't dramatically helping me fall asleep, but it helps a lot more than without it before.

  12. Feeling great on my fifth day. I will be building a homemade power rack today so I can workout from home and never have an excuse to skip building my body. I want this NoFap transformation to go beyond internal. I want people to be able to see who I am on the outside as a reflection of who I've become on the inside and how much I've changed by learning how to control myself. I'm not going to let this virus dictate how I live and keep me weak by closing the gyms.

    Awesome! I want to follow your example... I have been running and exercising lately, but I can still do more.

    How about that Boötes void? Weird stuff, huh? Or the simulation theory... Who knows.


    On a separate note... Mornings are still my central problem time... I really struggle to take control of my mind when I first wake up.

    And has anyone had any sex problems... Sometimes I struggle to become aroused with my girlfriend and I will use pornography to get my "desire" kickstarted... I know this is not helping my addiction, but I don't want her to feel as though I'm not attracted to her, because I am, it's just the brain downstairs has other plans. The joke about nature's Via-gra being a new woman is so true...

    I don't really have anyone to say these things to, so just typing them out is helpful...

  16. Every seven days this garbage keeps coming back to get me. I've been having a hard time sleeping on some nights, so I'm going to go to bed even earlier. Also going to do NoFap nightmare mode (cutting out all unecessary tech use and only listening to classical music except for workouts) starting now until I'm I'm finally past this seven days curse.

  18. Bombed nightmare mode yesterday cuz I decided to do it much later in the day, so going to go back into it today starting with the moment I woke up. Definitely not easy to get used to hearing Mozart crap in my ear while I work (currently doing this at the time of writing), but I guess this is the road I gotta go down if I'm going to put my mind to rest from all this stimulation. I know that I have plenty to do to stay busy today, so going to avoid all unecessary tech use. Also have been doing meditation and felt great yesterday. Going to start doing it as often as many members on this forum have suggested doing. I shall update later on my progress, and thanks for the words of encouragement also! My goal is to reach 90 days of Nofap before the end of the year, so this may be one of the last chances I get this year to accomplish this goal. Let's keep going!!!

    Meditation is a great idea... I should try to incorporate that into my day as well. Maybe first thing in the morning to start off right.

  21. Regarding my porn addiction, I'm at a point where I don't count the days anymore. I just think about how long until the next milestone. I think this is better because when focusing on the streak itself, I may downplay it and lose motivation. This way, I'm always looking forward and there's always a new, achievable goal.

    However, more recently, I stopped masturbating too. Not because it was harmful in and of itself, but because I feel like I was using it as a coping mechanism. I masturbated to either my imagination (more rare) or girls I know on Instagram, not models or anything (more common). I wanted to develop a healthier view around sex and women so I stopped. It hasn't been hard, mostly due to the 60 day headstart I had with no porn, but I noticed the beginning of something that is very likely a flatline. Before abstaining from masturbation, my penis was more responsive and I got more erections.

    It's okay, though, everything is going smoothly. I'm still in quarantine so it's a great time to just be patient and wait for things to improve. Meanwhile, I'm focusing on my workouts, games, language learning, friends, etc.
