Prone masturbation has caused me to have weak pelvic muscles. What can I do?

Discussion in 'Porn-Induced Sexual Dysfunctions' started by Deleted Account, Oct 10, 2019.

  1. Hello, I am a 19 year old male who started masturbating since the age of 10 by prone masturbating first and I eventually switched to humping thick bed sheets.

These habits have harmed my penile health, put pressure on my ballsack and weakened my pelvic muscles. My pelvic muscles now are weak, I always feel discomfort in my pelvic region (muscles), feel contraction and I can barely squeeze my pelvic muscles. In addition to that, when I pee now my penis uncontrollably squeezes small amounts of pee and I occasionally feel a burn beneath my ballsack, in the pelvic muscles.

I am too embarrassed to tell my conservative parents about this for now. I always had issues trying to quit masturbation, but now I am legitimately terrified I will always have bad pelvic muscles strength and erectile issues (and I am 19 yo!)

I don't know what to do. How likely I am to completely recover if I manage to stop fapping or masturbating for long periods of time?

I am too embarrassed to notify my parents now. I'll slowly try to fix it on my own and as a last resort I'll tell my parents.

P.S: Due to my lack of terminology, I don't know what the bed-humping masturbation is called. Is there a word for it?

I agree it does sound like something more serious than the side effects of vigorous and frequent masturbation.

Stopping will obviously help, but if it doesn't clear up these symptoms quickly then you really should get it checked out.

For general muscular health, regular exercise is important and if you wanted to target your pelvic muscles in particular I would recommend so yoga, good for overall health and well-being but truly excellent for hip opening for those of us who spend most of our day sat down.

Just sitting down for hours on end leads to the contraction of muscles in and around the pelvis and everyone with a sedentary lifestyle needs to work on this.

Can everyone heal from prone masturbation?

Not sure which point in my message you were picking up from. If I understood the original posters point then he is masturbating my laying against and thrusting into bedding.

If this is what you mean as well then I don't consider the act itself to be an issue, it's just another form of masturbation.

From the information available I surmised that he has two separate issues one medical, the other physical.

Most people are able to develop, stretch and improve posture around the pelvic region with yoga. I'm 38 years old and have spent 20 years of my working life sitting on my arse, I can now once again comfortably sit cross legged and very nearly achieve a front split after 3 years of not very intense of regular yoga.
