Seems to be a lot of focus on avoiding triggers around here, and I wonder how much of flatlining comes from studiously avoiding triggers/arousal. But if we cut arousal out of our lives, how exactly are we supposed to get aroused when the real deal comes along?

I'm not endorsing porn, (although it can be positive for some people), P is horrible in the respect that it de-sensitizes us to getting attracted to girls that would actually fuck us, because let's face it, no one here is getting chased around by porn stars. That's not what I'm getting at.

It just seems to me that the idea isn't to avoid arousal entirely unless you want to be a monk. Don't practice what you don't want to become. It's developing the willpower to be able to live WITH a state of arousal (for women that we can actually land) constantly coming and going, rather than resisting the urge to tap out and fap, which temporarily cuts the urge off for a time like a circuit breaker.

But if we cut off the arousal, how are we supposed to develop the willpower to resist it, and even come to enjoy it?

Thoughts? Come at me bros! :D
