So I’ve heard a lot about sissy addiction recently and I just had something that popped in my head when thinking about unwanted fetishes. The two purposes that humans have biologically are to survive and reproduce. And porn addiction/fetish addictions take advantage of the reproduction side. So I was curious if there is a way to take advantage of the survival side to counteract a fetish. For example, if someone eats some bad fish and gets food poisoning and gets sick and throws up, they are going to have a strong aversion towards fish from then on. So I’m curious if you can use that to create an aversion to a fetish. For example, if you decided to take ipecac syrup (known to induce vomiting) and immediately start a “session” with your preferred fetish, you would end up throwing up during it at some point. This could potentially bring about an aversion or at least distaste towards the fetish. I’m curious if this could be used as an extreme approach to counter fetishes that people have gone extremely far into but hate doing so. Comment your thoughts below if you think this is possible, even if it sounds extreme.

That's a very old way of "curing" alcohol addiction. It doesn't work. I don't know why, but I know tons of people who tried, they all say it doesn't work.

Haha the "Ludovico" technique from A Clockwork Orange? That's basically the example you gave. But in general, regarding the survival/reproduction idea...

The problem is, most fetishes aren't going to immediately and directly threaten your survival. So it's not quite like you learn not to stick your dick in an electrical socket by hearing about how that would cause you a painful and certain death, or realizing you should run when someone is coming at you with a knife. However, I think the survival instinct can still be leveraged with some discipline.

You need to meditate carefully on some thoughts you design. Controversially enough, I'm actually going to suggest that if you want to do this, you go ahead and fap again, just once more... indulge deeply in your fetish. Then immediately start writing. Make a detailed list or paragraph explaining all the feelings you feel afterwards, which are bound to be bad ones. Write another entry for each of the next 2-3 days. After writing, meditate on these thoughts, think them about yourself, feel them if they're still there. It's going to be difficult and painful, but go through the misery and understand exactly what it feels like. And... keep watching porn. Keep watching your silly fetish while you're going through the terrible post-relapse feelings. Keep experiencing it and telling yourself, "this is why I experience this", as you watch. You'll get really damn sick of that, you'll stop.

Once you've stopped, make a list of all the benefits you're hoping for from NoFap, and some of your future dreams and goals you think they'll lead to eventually. Add to it and revise it daily as you're starting to feel better. Meditate on these, every time you feel really great, think about what it would be like to feel even better after even longer of not fapping. Anytime you consider fapping, consult your fetish diary. You won't want to, you'll start feeling like shit without even having fapped if you look at that thing and remember all the associations. Go back and read your NoFap/NoFetish diary instead after you've decided not to fap.

In this way, you've created a sense of disgust/despair that goes along with your fetish, and a sense of relief that goes with abstaining from it. Those are connected both to your decision making and your biology. Done, two way, self-reinforcing conditioning, to get you out of that mess.

That's how I did it. I legitimately do feel sick when I even imagine looking down that road.

Ok well I was just curious bc personally when I drank beer for the second time I wanted to find my limit and ended up getting very drunk and throwing up. That caused me to not be able to taste beer without retching and almost throwing up. So maybe it’s a personal thing idk but I wanted to see what people thought.

Well I personally am over the fetish I didn’t indulge too deeply into it and I just made the conscious decision to stop one day and I haven’t watched that genre of porn in months and regular porn in a little over a month. I’m just asking bc some of the fetish still lingers and parts of it still turn me on so I was curious if there was a way to associate it with revulsion in order to completely get rid of the fetish.

Ah so you're farther along than I assumed, good. Still though, my method applies to those deep mental associations that still linger. Think of it like alcoholics... they can go "_____ sober", but there's still an uncomfortable tension until the addiction pathways are uprooted.

In shorter, simpler terms, since your farther along... what you need to do is think of a list of terribly negative, undesirable effects of participating in the fetish, and then meditate on those to associate them with the fetish. In your case, sissy fetish, for example... meditate on being publicly exposed as a sissy and what attractive women you see in the streets would think if they knew. Look at those beautiful women and think realistically about what they want from a man, then think about your sissy fetish. Logic will kick in, you'll realize it's repulsive and contrary to the rest of what you want. Fetishes are nonsense by nature, but if you have no cause in mind for being sensible, on you'll indulge. Find your cause, associate your fetish with being a miserable and embarrassing failure at pursuing it.
