    Hello fellow fapstronauts,

I reached 1 year of Nofap (no porn and no mastrubation) it was a though year with a lot of ups and downs! A lot. I had estimately 5-6 flatlines and I can say that I witnessed the following benefits:

    - Erectile Dysfunction completely cured.
    - Way more energy than before
    - I have a girlfriend and I talk to girls in a really smooth way
    - Social awkwardness completely gone
    - I feel motivated to reach the top in the business world
    - I found a new job
    - I feel way more attractive
    - I don't idolize women anymore

The flatlines were the part I really wanted to give up but I had a lot of help from Yourbrainonporn.com which has a lot of scientific articles about the flatline and that it will go away.

Let me know if I could help anyone or give some clarification when you have some questions :)

Hi congratulations on reaching 1 year.

I'm currently on day 41. I've been in flatline since day 11. What are signs that the flatline is coming to a end? Wet dreams? Random erections?
I've started to get morning wood again but I don't know if that's a sign it's coming to a end

It is ! Morning wood is a good sign. Also random erections are a good sign as well! It is very difficult to say when a flatline has completely come to an end. You just have to analyze your own energy level and your own erections when havint sex or being intimate with another person.

I am 24 and the changes I made were:
    - stop mastrubation
    - delete instagram
    - delete facebook
    - dont go to porn sites
    - live healthy
    - eat healthy
    - workout
    - chase girls
    - get out of the artificial world and live life in the real world ;)

EDIT: forgot to mention: read read read read !!!!
I spend hours and hours reading scientific articles on yourbrainonporn.com. I also strongly recommend reading the book Your Brain On Porn by Gary Wilson. It gives you a lot of information about the brain changes as a result of porn and advice on how to overcome porn addiction and how to reboot.

    Good luck ;)

This means that porn is filmed by a mobile phone right? If so, then YES it is a clear relapse. Stop looking at sex on a screen or body parts on a screen. Even google images search for a hot celebrity is bad for your reboot.

Maybe I am wrong about the meaning of MMS, please correct me if I am wrong

If you came across it by mistake then no, but if you keep looking at it because you want to then yes it is a relapse. If you are confronted with it and you look away then no it is not a relapse.

No problem at all brother, if it is outside your control then you did not relapse. Do not overthink it.

I also like to watch movies or series like House of Cards which also has some sex scenes. You cannot isolate yourself but when you look away then you are in control and did not relapse. These days you will be confroned with porn, sex, hot bodies everywhere! Even in music clips.

It is simple: Do NOT purposely look up porn and do NOT mastrubate. Do not search for it, do not tempt yourself.

Hey there, I am a bit ahead than you in journey and it seems like you are also doing normal mode instead of hard mode. You can also read my story in my signature below. It looks like you didn't go through severe long term withdrawals/PAWS like I did ? I am still recovering from it actually. If you did or are going through it, I would be really interested to hear from you in that perspective. Also, why are you not doing hard mode? I am married so I can't do hard mode.

I don't do hardmode because I have a girlfriend. I did not really suffer from really PAWS on top of the flatline. The flatline is really common and had this a couple of times. Can you explain what you mean with PAWS in more detail?

That is Awesome, I’m hoping to reach there soon, currently 124 days in and nothing can stop me, I did the same as you deleted most of my social media for over a year now :) even though I sometimes get panic attacks and anxiety which is really an headache and makes my nofap journey stressful, Did you suffer from these? And again huge congrats on ur success bro!

super bro! Great job! These are the kinda motivational stories that people need to hear.

My question to you is, I have previously gone 160 days without fapping, but that didnt help because I was fantacising about having sex, I was edging and peeking occasionally. What habits have helped you reach a year without P and MO?? Surely there was some idea which pushed you toNOT relapse when you had urges, right. What was the idea? Did you have a daily schedule? or did you have a monthly goal? what was it?

I did not. To be completely honest I decided to never mastrubate and watch porn again. During my journey I kept making adjustments like less fantasicing, keeping track of sexual thought when they occured and trying to get rid of them, deleting my social media and so forth !

hmmmmm a Strong resolve not to watch P and not to Masterbate ever again...thats good bro.

Saying masturbation in moderation is OK to an addict is like saying a gram of cokaine is harmless to a drug user. I think its time we all acknowledge that any MO is not good. thanks bro!

Congratulation, I feel happy for you in your recovery, especially the case of PIED, social anxiety, and self esteem, congratulation once again. My questions:
1.how long had you been PMOing?
2.how good is your libido during and after your reboot?
3.what other things do you think helped you reverse your PIED other than the reboot challenge
5.how hard is rewiring? In term of success and failures.
    Best of luck brother.
