Ready to kick old habits and start new healthy ones.

  1. Hello. I've joined this site to prove to myself that I am serious about making a change in my life and kicking old habits. I'm going to do the 30 day challenge and focus that energy on other things in my life. I've been very lazy since I graduated college, I used to always have hobbies or would hang out with friends or go on little adventures. But in the last two and a half years I've become an unmotivated lump who just watches the world go by. All I do in my free time is watch TV, look at porn or jerk off. I've read the many benefits of Nofap and I'm excited to train myself to have better focus, motivation, and clarity of mind. I'll be able to get back into my artistic passions, finally get my very long to do list checked off and work on bettering my relationships. I also didn't loose my virginity until a year and a half ago so prier to then all i had was porn to get myself off and that has created a dependency to be able to achieve orgasm. My first few times actually having sex with a real person I was unable to orgasm without looking at porn. Since then I have gotten better but i still have trouble getting and staying hard without some influence of porn. I am ready for change.

    What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?
     
  3. Deleting the porn from my computer and using child safe search, as well as putting a limit on my computer usage. Number one trigger for MO is computer porn. Then ill work on focusing that sexual energy on other things i find enjoyable, like my art. In this way ill be replacing one thing that gave me pleasure with another that brings me healthy pleasure.

    You've got this. Remember youre not doing this just for you! The stuff fo you is a nice positive side effect that may or may not come as quickly as you want or stay as long as you want. Just speaking from a 'success story' perspective!! But hey you on right place
