Ready to try again.

    OK, I'm back after a few (more) failed starts. Basically, as far as I can tell, I'm pretty much hooked on dopamine. I've been using porn and food to give my brain a boost and buffer low emotions. This is worst in the winter (I suffer from reasonably severe seasonal depression) and tends to lift a bit when the sun comes back.

    Honestly I don't have any idea how well I'll do this time, I managed a good stretch from spring until autumn last year. Hopefully I'll be able to hold it all together for longer this time around.

    Say you use something like adaptogens to boost your moods instead.

    They are really not an addictive thing (I am hooked lol but it is so healthy for you to be hooked on them).

    Porn isn't boosting your brain. It is really hijacking it and I don't want to say shrinking but it isn't good for it.

    I guess if you have an eating disorder or just like to eat a lot because it makes you feel good that could be a serious issue to put in check and hopefully not fapping nor watching porn will give you more self-control.

    I do understand failed attempts though.

    Can't tell you how many times I started and failed.
