Really bad insomnia out of nowhere.

So I've finally gotten a good streak. About 9 days. However, I've been getting really bad insomnia. Does insomnia go away? It's really bothering me. Haven't been able to sleep these past couple of nights. This is the worst anxiety I've had in awhile.
Yes, this does go away. This is likely just a withdrawal symptom. If you really want to, you can use melatonin tablets to put you to sleep.

The thing is my body has gotten so used to sleep aids that if I tried anymore I think they wouldn't do anything. I'm thinking about weening off of them, and does this withdrawal symptom go away over time? These past few nights have been the absolute worst. I'm almost tempted to call my doctor in the morning. Luckily enough I have really good health insurance from work. Maybe it's time I started using it.

can u discribe your insomia pattern?
btw ive been NoFap 1 month, still have insomia..i have insomia eventhough i still fapping..i heard some ppl need 5 months free to have better sleep

I've just had an insomnia induced relapse, so I'm also trying to figure this out as well.

I find that after a meal, the first thing I wanna do is go to sleep - regardless of the time of day or my energy levels. If I act out on it immediately I usually wake up with some pretty bad indigestion, but on these nights I legit can't sleep that might be a small price to pay.

I am experiencing this, which leads to really long naps during the day, and then insomnia at night. Is this what’s going on with you?
It is, but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with abstinence. Food has always made me sleepy, and I work mostly at night, so I often nap during the day. But once I do go to sleep, usually between midnight and two o'clock, I fall asleep fairly quickly. A couple nights ago that just didn't happen. I think if I ate something it could've fixed that.

I also work late at night, but I'm the 3am and get the worst sleep sometimes. Anyways, as far as eating goes are you eating a healthy diet? That may help and consistent exercises can make you tired out. Also, cutting out caffeine helps too!

I sometimes take longer naps too, but whenever I take naps during the day it wrecks my sleep during the night so I suggest stopping that if you can. You may feel dead tired but if you pull through you'll sleep longer. That's what I've noticed anyways.

Yes I am going to stop with the long naps during the middle of the day. Hopefully that will help with reducing or eliminating the insomnia at night time.
