Reasons to do NOFAP

I think you have to have your own reasons otherwise you won't have the willpower to succeed.

For me it's the fact that I find porn morally questionable and as my children near their teenage years I want to be able to address this from a position where I am not hypocritical.

You see, you'll never find a 100% valid reason because whatever reason you find or we give to you, you will weigh it against porn.

No reason can convince you of abstaining when you are horny and you want to fap. I could tell you your mother will die, and you would do it nonetheless.

Reading your post, I thought to myself, why does one have to have a reason? Does it have to be a logical answer? I think the truth is more connected with emotions. You are numbing your emotions when you fap.

Probably you should be asking yourself reasons to fap, you'll find none or very few. And here goes my reasons to not masturbate:

• you become less available emotionally;
• do your values align with doing it?
• what people would think of you doing it?
• what kind of person does it?
• less energy, less motivation, less self-respect;
• many others.

As some people stated, you have to find the reasons you find most valid. Me, for example, when I PMO, I forget to take baths, I'm always dirty and sweaty. To me, this is a good reason. I not only feel cleaner while in NoFap, but I am also effectively cleaner while in NoFap.

Twist this question and see the reasons to pull off your pants and play with your dick like a loser, you'll find little or no reason. Just look differently at things, you'll find the answers.

 

How about because you want to be happy, be a better person, want to succeed in something, want people to remember you for being better than what you were... there's always reasons. What was your reason for signing up here? You know you came here for a reason. You have a reason. Find it. Fight this crap with an iron sword and slay it!

 

Make a decision that you can lead ur self this i think the inportant thing that I realized it now,,i can lead my self and dont let something to lead me,its true that some days i didnt go for work to just watch p and masturbate,also its true that i left my friends early becouse i need to go home and watch p and masturbate..i feel ashamed of myself now as did this really!now i need to control my self and enjoy my life
