    Hey folks.

Just wanted to let you know that after three years of frequent masturbation (daily from Dec. 2014 to June 2016 and every 2-3 days from July 2016 to Dec. 2017), I’ve decided to reboot this year by restraining myself over the next dozen months.

I began this whole fapping business when I made the mistake of watching porn on a lonely night. At first, I thought masturbating once every day wouldn’t do me any harm. Alas, urinary complications in June 2016 forced me to seek a urologist’s diagnosis and he claimed via a cystocopy that my pelvic muscles had gotten too tight (no abnormalities otherwise), hence the frequent/difficult urination.

Unfortunately for me, my hypochondria spiked upon realizing that I had damaged my penis. I began reading about the link between masturbation and cancer (of the prostate and bladder), and I’ve been met with conflicting results. On one hand, masturbation for older men was linked to decreased chances of the disease. On the other hand, the opposite was true for younger lads like me (I’m 22 y/0).

I won’t hide the fact that my urinary condition has improved and a recent cystocopy confirmed the lack of any tumors, polyps and other oddities (only comment the doc made while checking my bladder was the “poop bump”, which meant that I needed to do a #2. Hope he was right about that). However, I fear that I may have condemned my future health and exposd my body to future cancer incidents as a result of masturbating for the bulk of my early 20s.

I’m eating healthy (no junk food or sweets), exercise frequently and have regular checkups (hypochondriac tendency). I want to make sure that, like quitting smoking, my chances of living a healthy, terminal disease-free life massively increase. I don’t want to live the rest of my life fearing bodily horrors (i.e. prostate, bladder cancer).

Sorry if it seems like I’m overreacting, but I want to atone for past misdeeds. So my question is: is it not too loate for me to turn things around?

Thank you and happy new year.

abstaining from sex stuff during the 90 day reboot will greatly help to eliminate this type of paranoid thinking and most negative self talk. Stop worrying about stuff. Start meditating everyday

You need to control your anxiety first and foremost.
