Received a letter that caused me a lot of stress and this made me extremely horny and relapse?

You needed an escape. I tend to do the same thing in stressful situations.

 

It's an understandable reaction to a stressful situation, you revert to your happy place, that happens to be PMO.

5 days in very early in a reset journey and your brain is still defaulting to PMO as your comfort zone.

Don't be disheartened by it, just reset the clock and put it down to experience. Eventually you will get to a place where PMO is not your default happy place. Good luck.

 

Stress is a major factor in causing us to PMO. You gotta be aware of this moving forward and find new ways to deal with stress.

 

I do this all the time as well, I get so horny when I'm stressed, but you have to remember that if you get through THIS kind of urge you can get through anything because desperation urges are the worst of them all.

 

I have 2 letters from the federal government that I’m terrified of opening for this very reason. I’m scared to death. I don’t want to kill my streak but if I don’t open those letters and deal with the situation it’s going to be awful.

 

I remember getting letters from the IRS and ignoring them. Then one day two agents showed up at my door to summons me to court. I owed several thousand dollars in back taxes. Can't run from the government.
