As the title says, there was a time when I recovered from porn and was free. But now, I'm addicted to sex chat. I actually created a account on a sex chat site. I didn't even do that in a porn site. There are all kinds of people in the sex chat site. They're normalising cheating, incest as roleplays and whatnot. This sucks. I can't be a slave to this. Help!

It seems like you lowered intensity which is good but you need to get rid of this chat. Use a website b locker like a system one there tutorials online

There's normalizing cheating and there's normalizing chatting. You won't think anything is wrong with chatting (yes even non-sexual) if it has been successfully normalized, but why would short attention span, virtually meaningless one liners and never meeting the people you "socialize" with aside from these kind of exchanges be "normal", even if everyone does it?

If the word "normal" is problematic for people then think functional. Would you be having a functional social life, and by extension a sex life with that kind of behavior?

The answer is simple, as with all addictions. Stop all addictive behavior contributing to it.

Relapsed on Day 2. Damn. Sex chats are even more harder to recover from than porn. Reason being able to talk to real women. Gotta do a lot better. Help!

What kind of help do you expect from people? You haven't replied to anyones comment here.

Go to some 12 Step meetings for sex addiction. Even if it's a chat meeting, but ideally at least voice and maybe video. The idea of meetings is the interaction is more real than chat.

If you can't control your internet usage right now you may need blocker software. Given the extremely short posts this is about all that can be said.

Be very careful with this. In some ways, chatting is even worse than porn because there is infinite novelty. It's much more interactive than videos are because you are in full control of the entire experience, and that results in a much bigger surge of dopamine.

I appreciate the replies. Great idea about the website blocker. I don't have much knowledge about tech stuff. But added website blockers as extension on my browsers. But the problem is, it never blocks the site in Incognito. I usually access these sites by Incognito. What is the point? Somebody help please!

Edit: I successfully figured out how to block on Incognito too. Now the problem is, my android phone. Couldn't install the same "Blocksite" app because t says my device isn't compatible. Tried to block the site in wifi router, turns out, it can only block the entire access to internet of a device for set schedule. There was no website blocker. Now, my phone is a problem.
