Sometimes I wanna go back and punch the guy who explained to me masterbation back in 7th grade. I remember it used to hurt my hands back then and I wouldn't cum, sometimes almost an hour.
Fast forward to 2018, I am almost 30. I have PE issue, erection not as hard as used to. Porn is so boring now. My ex girlfriend left me cz well my strike rate was once in 3 times that I could make her cum. I am afraid of relationships and I haven't been with a woman in last 1 year. Of course I am taking meds but unless I break the habit, my mind and body continues to suffer.
Porn exploits young men. Oxytocin addiction gives the happiness like most drugs. My mind is always hazy, my vision blurry...
It's 4th of July, Happy independence day. I am done with this shit for good.

Welcome to NoFap, @Leashed4good! I can't say much about oxytocin (though I know a little about it) but I can say that a big neurochemical involved in porn addiction is dopamine. And, it's a really big one, because that is our "reward" system. That great feeling you get after satisfying sex: dopamine (there are some others, too). The thing is, our "smart" brains don't know the difference between the dopamine release from actual sex vs. porn. In fact, because we can select what we want to watch, the dopamine "fix" from porn eventually becomes bigger (and more satisfying) than actual sex. This is also part of what causes problems like ED.

The good news is that you are in the perfect place! This community can really help you! You CAN do this and you are NOT alone on the journey.

There are a lot of good resources here. There is the List of Resources found here: https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php?threads/new-users-list-of-rebooting-resources.50878/

There are also groups you can join with likeminded men.

Three things I found extremely valuable are:
-getting an accountability partner; that forum is here: https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php?forums/accountability-partners.7/

-starting a journal and writing in it daily. You'll find that section under Reboot Logs. I would also suggest reading others' journals and other posts.

-interact with the guys here. You will find an amazing community of supportive, motivating guys all on the same journey as you are.

You don't have to do this alone. We're all in this together, and together we are stronger.

Welcome to NoFap, my friend! I'm proud of you for joining and glad you're here.
