So Sundays are my relapse days because I don’t have work to distract me. Perhaps as a means to keep my motivation up, could we start a discussion on the proven benefits of hitting the 90 day reboot? I am very interested in the phenomena that guys describe where all of a sudden women notice them more after quitting. Is there any science behind this or is it all anecdotal. I assume it actually has more to do with us noticing THEM more, but I haven’t gotten anywhere near that point yet so I don’t know.

Check this out mate (and the link contained)http://www.nofap.org/forum/showthread.php?4054-Getting-Started-with-Sexual-Energy-Transmutation

There's never any 'guarantees' as such as there are so many 'subjective' variables etc and there is science depending on what sources you trust etc (they do not teach 'modern' scientific findings in schools as those who set the curriculums seem surprisingly keen to ensure we are not 'up to speed' less we start questioning the 'validity' of what passes for 'education'?) 'The Tao of Physics' by Fritjof Capra is a good place to start, as is the 'Biology of Belief' by Bruce Lipton (and anything by Greg Braden)

Of course science has it's place but we are also in danger of being slaves to something that creates as many questions as it does answers? One of my favourite quotes is that 'life is not a problem to be solved but a mystery to be lived' and I just think we have lost that sense of innocence/mystery as we seek to understand/solve and even control everything via 'science'.

I remember once my Aikido teacher demonstrating something called 'unbendable arm' which consists of projecting thought/energy through the arm rendering it 'unbendable' when somebody slowly tried to bend it. It also consisted of making the arm 'soft' by relaxing completely and absorbing the energy of the person trying to bend it. This had NOTHING to do with competition or the usual 'get me look how tough I am' nonsense that all too often passes as 'strength' but was simply a demonstration of a different kind of 'strength'.

On this particular occasion it was being shown for the first time to a physics teacher at a local secondary school. And it was working. He wasn't using any physical strength whatsoever and yet nobody could bend his arm. He had never experienced anything quite like it before- and he was amazed! But after a short while he started to get agitated and a 'troubled' look betrayed his inner dilemma. "Is there any instrument that can measure and verify this so it can be scientifically proven to work" he somewhat nervously enquired. "Can you feel it", asked the teacher, "yes I can", came the reply, "then do you not already have all the proof you need?"

    We never saw him again!!??

Like I said, 'life isn't a problem to be solved but a mystery to be lived' and that guy missed out on so much simply because he wasn't in possession of a 'scientific' instrument to satisfy his (left brain) need for a totally rational/logical explanation. Unfortunately (for him at least) the Universe simply doesn't work that way and maybe he missed out? Maybe?
