    Hi guys,
I managed a 17 day streak, however I relapsed today, just once. I was wondering if this will have a big impact, and set my progress back a lot. I was quite pleased to find that I didn't enjoy this PMO session as much as I expected to, in fact it was kinda disappointing. So much so that I can't imagine myself doing it again for a while.

I was a little worried if a relapse, even if it's just once, would 'reset' my whole progress. Will I have to go through the whole process of rewiring my brain again? Is one surge of dopamine enough to put me back to square one, or can I recover from this easily?
    Thanks guys!

  2. Since you've already lasted 17 days, you can recover from your recent relapse if you can contain yourself like in your last attempt. If you don't contain yourself, you could slip and find yourself in an addiction.

I'm new here - I literally made my account today. I couldn't imagine lasting 17 days! I've got a long way to go. Good luck! :)

He wrote about 17 days. 17 days streak is amazing man! Keep it up. You cannot think about it as category of quitting. You have to forget about it! 17 days sounds great, so why you don't try 34? 68? It's just your mind. Be master of your body! Do not let any distractions to change your goal. You shouldn't take it at category of progress. Everyday without PMO is good :) when the urge came again think about meditaction. You can even stare at the wall, but ask yourself a questions:
    1. Is that what you really want?
    2. Can I spend that time doing sth usefull?
    3. Do I really want to break my challenge? NO I'm not weak.
Set up a new goal! Start again. You won't regret after 34 days.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the kind words and support. A few things I've found useful to those of you who have just started, try and think of the long term benefits when it feels a little slow, and if you suffer any side effects like anxiety or depression, just think "it will pass, this is my brain fixing itself".
    Good luck!
