    Feel like crap, could have done something to prevent it. Masturbated twice to porn. I want to quit this addiction.

    I know the feeling man. I myself have been struggling like a bull stuck in deep mud. Don't know what to do. Its a vicious cycle of relapse, deep regret, depression, demotivation and purposeless to anything. Need to straighten life. The journey is long and the struggle is real. No doubts about that. The pain should go away and replaced with happiness. It can only happened once we abstain from pmo and give up all.

    don't worry..start again..whenever u feel urges understand that it's the dirty trick of our brain..instead of being submissive to cravings, try to stay away from it..u can wash your balls with cold water..bath two times a day, once in morning and other 1hr before the sleep.."dopamine detox" aka monk mode is the best way to recover..dopamine detox means rewiring the reward circuit by avoiding external stimulus that produce dopamine (like sweet and fatty food, alcohol, drugs, cigar, social media,pmo, videos,songs,sex chat, heated arguments, disturbing news etc..stay away from all this)..it's difficult to practice dopamine detox..but it is worth..if u can't stop watching porn, use a good parental control that can block all the useless online contents and enable to use only useful websites..these are the strategies which helped me in reaching 400+ days

    did you have flatlines? I could use some dopamine detox since I've been flatlining since day 38 or so. What should I do to speed up the process of getting through the flatline? I feel detached and depressed and it's Hell.

    flatline is inevitable for our recovery..i had severe flatline and wet dreams till first 120 days..after that it slowly disappeared..flatlines are positive signs of recovery..those who patiently go through flatlines will come out with flying colours..inorder to reduce the effect of flatline, we should socialise..in this pandemic situation, socialising is not advisable..but u can mingle with your parents and siblings at home and help them in kitchen or u can call ur close friends and talk with them..staying lonely inside a room will intensify the effect of flatline

    Thanks man, it's been on and off. I'm currently in my 4th flatline (been going for 5 days), my other ones were days 36-43, 44-49, 52-55. I'm at college but I will be home with family in 2 days. They know about my situation and are going to be understanding. Hopefully by the end of winter break (Jan. 6) I will be feeling better because I've been a decent student but now I can barely study due to the brain fog.
