I'm a second year college student, and I've been highly invested in instant gratifications throughout my life (excessive porn use since age 13, video game addiction, food addiction). I've left behind video games, am on the path to healthy eating (learning to manage money has helped), but I have not been successful in my attempts of removing pornography from my life. I plan on posting on this page (or the main PMO page daily whichever is more common) everyday to stay committing to rebooting and resetting.

Ways pornography has hurt me: It was hurt my performance sexually, there have been multiple instances when I have been unable to perform intimately with women in bed. It turned sleeping with women an experiment of whether or not I would be able to perform, turning me into a non-sympathetic abuser of emotions.
It has also created feeling of self-pity, "why do I have such sexual fetishes?!?", that inhibit me from growing.
It has isolated me from friends and family, and is an associated behavior with my food addiction and social media addiction (two things I have really been working on). I am ready to commit to this sexual health, and ultimately overall health, and to be able to share what I know with others.
While I am not overtly Christian, I'm going to be a camp counselor at a Christian Bible camp (that I attended for 9 years as kid) this summer if I secure the position. I'm going to be in a position of leadership, and I know for damn sure that many of the high school kids/middle-schoolers that I will be working with will likely just be beginning a path onto PMO. My goal is to abstain from pornography, respect women (possible ask out a girl!...and date her!), and take what I learned and share it with others. Ready to remove myself from toxicity in relationships with women and myself, Godspeed.
