Road to recovery

Recovery has not been easy for me. I have been viewing Porn for 8-9 yrs now since I was 10 yrs old and at this current stage in my life I unfortunately have a Porn addiction. After doing more research I have realised that Porn is very detrimental to a persons motivation and ambition in life. I believe Porn is the reason why I struggled all through my high school days as I suffered from social anxiety and found it difficult to motivate myself to be something good in life. I made it a goal for myself to abstain from Porn forever to change my life for the better. However every time I say that to myself I end up watching it again and ending up in a continuous cycle of abstaining from Porn and then watching porn again. This has made me question whether I am strong enough to overcome this extreme addiction and if maybe I will go on watching porn for the rest of my life.
Rest assured I am not going to give up with my battle to overcome my Porn addiction , and anyone looking at this who is in the same predicament as me shouldn’t either. Because there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

Remember you are the only one that can limit your greatness.

 

Yes brother hopefully what we see as impossible with abstaining from Porn eventually becomes possible. Keep fighting!!
