Say YES! And...

I just started an improv theater class, and only two classes in, it's been life changing. It is all about positivity, accepting the gifts that life gives you and saying yes to them, and then adding to them. Mistakes are something to celebrate, because that is where we find the adventure.

I know many of us here are looking for some meaning as we strive for a porn free life. I think we can all start by saying yes. Not to porn, but to the new opportunities that life gives us when we decide to stay away. Say yes to the change, and on to the next adventure.

 

This is a perfect example of saying "no." Instead of embracing a positive idea this shut it down with sarcasm and negativity, which ends the conversation.

Porn and drugs are a way of saying no to the adventures out there, of retreating to safety because it's comfortable, and not going forward.

I'm advocating that you say yes to a new lifestyle, say yes to positive change, and say yes to new ideas.

 

Yes! And... that is the point. It's just the fundamental idea in improv theater to say "yes, and" which is why I posted it the way I did.
