This is the second time it happens, and I'm scared. Weird scary images appear out nowhere when I get to bed. Yesterday there was a mans mouth saying something, today was two kids kissing then they suddenly are 3 eyed aliens, others are very violent about killing and death.
I'm scared for life now, it seens to be an anxiety desorder that was developed over the course of the 3 and a half months on nofap. Don't know what to do, other than to be awake, search for help and sleep in the couch or during the day. I'd rather have to deal with PMO images and sex fantasies than it. They are controble.

If anyone know how to deal with it, please write a reply.
    Thanks.

That is interesting. I don't know for sure but it could possibly be your brain trying to trick you into fantasizing about what arouses you and thus attempting to get you to relapse. Your brain wants that dopamine hit and you aren't letting it have it. So it is trying other methods. Like I said I don't know if this is the case but could be. Especially, since you mentioned that you would rather have images or fantasies going through your mind. This could actually be a good sign that your reboot is working. I hope this helps. Stay strong and don't give in!

I have a little experience with nightmares and waking nightmares before I go to sleep, I have seen and heard many things. In my experience it has to do with repressed psyche. And trying to control it only makes it worse. Tell me one thing, are you generally afraid of night/dark. Do you ever get conscious in the middle of the night or you remain in a daze nonetheless, even if not sound asleep? If you do wake up, in like ever, doesn't have to be often, do you feel the calm and peace of the night or do you feel very negative?

I'm often paranoid about things, during day or night. Sleep goes uninterrupited. Night is lovely, dark is scary. I'm someone who's in touch with my memories and feelings, so there's only the true ones. All sugestion could lead to creating false memories. It's something I want to avoid. What are your experiences with wake nightmares?

Thought the same yesterday. The flashes of porn images looked too good at that time, knew that I had to look for help or it could lead to a relapse. The progress is too great to abandom.
The articles said to accept those feelings and occupy the mind. Did it and slept well.
Their name is intrusive thoughts. Happens often with who have OCD, Anxiety Disorder and others mental illness. They come in violent or sexual shapes and there's no way to prevent it. Only way to deal is acceptance.

If anyone wants help with this stuff here are some articles on the subject:

Based on your reply I don't think you have what I had. I was basically very tense and tight during night and I saw/heard things that weren't there for quite a long time. The most noteworthy thing was how I never acknowledged even the slightest existence of these things beyond normal, that's what repression is.. Once it became impossible to ignore I spiralled down but as a consequence emotions and thoughts got sorted and made changes to life and the nights automatically became normal. I was basically zero self conscious but you don't seem to be like that so I guess it's unlikely it's repression with you.
I hope you find your way ahead.
