    Hello Fapstronauts,

It has been 2 days since I started NoFap and this is the first time since past 4/5 years that I have willingly gone couple of days without fapping.

What I have noticed is that when you try to break a habit the urge to do it rises even more, thats one problem that I am facing now. But instead of porn I watched Tedx videos regarding the addiction and it made me feel much better.

I hope that I continue to do it and improve as a person and grow.

*If anyone can give me suggestions on what i should do to distract my mind when such thoughts/urge arise, it'll be very helpful...Thanks :)

Hey, I'm a believer and I recently heard a guy talk about how to get out of temptations throughout the day. You might not be a believer so I will say that part that I think is applicable to pretty much everyone. He had an alliteration called "APTAT". "A" stands for admit. Admit that you are helpless against these feelings and urges. "P" stands for pray. Tell God what you are experiencing. "T" stands for Trust. Trust that God's goodness will provide a way out of the temptation. "A" stands for act. This is the one that anyone can find helpful. Act. Do something else immediately. Busy yourself with ANYTHING other than what you are doing at the moment the urges hit. and "T" stands for Thank. Thank God that He has delivered you. So act is the one I wanted to highlight.
