can u guys recommend any self-help/motivation/will power books that you
read and help you?
I'm amazed that you haven't got a flood of answers to this. I'm not really into self-help books, I usually find that they take a whole book to tell you something that could be written on the back of a cigarette packet. But here are two I have enjoyed:
David Allen (sadly not Gong's front-man) Getting Things Done. It's about time management, not porn addiction, but I loved it.
Jordan Peterson 12 Rules for Life
The Jordan Peterson divides people, he is a very slippery thinker, and most people of my politics do not like him at all. But I loved the eclectic mix of philosophy, politics, history, ranting (there's a lot of ranting), advice, personal anecdotes, practical theology, simple truths, and impregnable baroque frippery.
I've not read it, but @JohnQ3369 and @ivanhoe were just recommending Unwanted by Jay Stringer over on @vxlccm's journal.
Anything from Robert Greene
This book's main focus is about alcohol addiction. However, we can learn a lot from it and apply the concepts to other "addictions" we may have in our lives, specifically, PMO. The book is titled:
THIS NAKED MIND
By, Annie Grace.
Anything Tony Robbins.
Habits by Charle Duehig
Kyle Cease is interesting
Theres literally millions of them
I was porn addict for almost for 15 years so my behaviors were improper. Two books helped a lot.
No more Mr Nice guy and other one The subtle art of not giving a fuck .
