There are additional factors preventing women from paying for cams. Just because we frequently won't pay for cams doesn't automatically mean we aren't visual. It's cultural expectations and circumstances that prevent us from expressing our desires this way. Honestly speaking, I think buying another person's body is more rooted in entitlement than any desire or visual tendency.

What are the factors that prevent females from paying for cams even though they constitute 90% of the sites providers?

Quite a lot, the most prominent ones are related to self-image, and the immediate bashing we would receive upon such deeds. Imagine how a woman who pays for sexual favors would be viewed, mostly 10 times more distressed and insecure than the average male addict. The woman in this case would be deemed 'cheap' and lacking self-respect.

You need to understand we females received different messages surrounding sexuality while growing, and none included the physicality of our desires. This particular facet of our sexuality had been ignored and each one of us felt confused and insecure dealing with it. Many never dared ackowledging they see P videos, felt attracted to the male form, or even felt aroused by erotic images. Most of us still feel cautious about openly expressing our visual tendencies.

So showing everything doesn't require courage but paying for cams anonymously does????
    What a flawed logic.

In short words, we were taught the only valid gaze is the male gaze.

Just pay a little more attention to my words. It's the messages each gender receives around sexuality that result in different forms of expression. Your statement confirms it furthermore.

So paying for sex toys is not stigmatised but paying for cams is?
U r not making any sense

Showing everything isn't about courage, it's about lacking depth in perspective and having a degraded image of femininity. These women follow the consensus labeling the female body as an ornamental sexual object, and that the female role within the sphere of heterosexual desire is limited to being passively observed.

Because paying for toys doesn't expose the visual characteristic like paying for cams does. Another reason is that the cam industry is designed to cater mostly to men, and there is a risk of exposure associated with it. Add to this the problems any potential addiction entails for a female. If women still have trouble expressing their arousal to erotic images due to self-image and stigmatization, can you imagine what it would be like for cam addiction? Where your financial security and personal safety are also at stake.

We are in 2021, women are more promiscuous than men.
They have the choice but they don't take it because they have completely different needs.

Also, don't forget there was a time women were very unlikely to buy toys. However, the promotion of those products among female-oriented media shifted that attitude. I think a decent amount of long-term propaganda can make women even comfortable with paying cams.

Some old prejudices still linger among a category of people unable to let go of them.
In 2021 many girls are willing to admit they have visual tendencies, some even told me they were fed up with this myth about only men being visual.

It's not about having 'different' needs, it's about being taught to avoid expressing those needs straightforwardly and lacking the level of entitlement needed to buy another person's body. Something men have been accustomed to. For a female, paying for sexual favors entails different outcomes for our self-image and cultural stigmatization.

  14. Anyone that has been anyway close to a woman knows that the "visual stimulation is just for men" is a myth. Women are just more discreet about expressing it.

It seems to me that it is older women, who are more comfortable expressing themselves, are more likely to pay for sexual favours or use male strippers. Because it does happen.

He meant to fill a void in their lives. If anything seems to have a sexual connotation to you it is a bad sign.

The woman who wrote this article said she joined OF "as an experiment more than anything". I think also some have joined in hopes of making good money. I think the pandemic played a big role in how popular OF has become. Before the pandemic, it was rather obscure.
