Then do whatever it takes to succeed. I've been where you are. I hated it, and so I did what was necessary to get out. In my case, it was cutting off my home Internet connection, getting rid of my computer, TV, DVD player, etc. If you'd have entered my apartment back then, you'd have been convinced you'd been transported back to the 1930's or something. Living like that was massively inconvenient in a number of ways, but I got away from porn, so I was 100% satisfied with the decision.

I'm not saying that's what you've got to do, but be willing to go to extremes. I'm almost certain this is something you wouldn't wish to talk about with your parents, but that might be what it takes. If it is, then do it. I have little doubt you know what it's going to take to succeed, so no matter how painful, be willing to embrace it, as a life spent in bondage to PMO is no life at all.

Highly appreciate your words.i am willing to do whatever it takes and maybe stop using the internet all together except for studies is what it takes. As far as telling my parents about this goes that is not something I want to do.
But I am willing to do whatever else it takes

My answer won't be a "Yes" or "No".

We're all different even though we're all humans,
you just need to discover what's good for you.

    Experiment.
Try quitting the Internet cold turkey and see what
    happens.
Try limiting your surfing habits and see what happens.
Try avoiding only certain websites that may trigger you
even though they're not porn, and see what happens.

If one approach doesn't work, change things up.
Discover what works, and then keep doing it.

I believe you should keep yourself constantly occupied with work, sports, people. You should not give yourself time to think about the past memories else it will lead to relapse. I try, then relapse. Nevertheless try again. One of the reasons for failure has been not being on NoFap group enough though I am a member for more than a year. this is place where you get enough motivation to stay the course. I continued for 3 months and then relapsed. One of the reasons for relapse as I found out is travel and loneliness during that period. This is the reason I keep telling keep yourself busy with positive thoughts, visions, dreams to pursue, compassion, environment. Our brain is the most precious part of our body. We should not let it get harmed by excess dopamine released during PMO. It is the most powerful weapon if we realize its potential and use it to effectiveness. Very few people are able to harness the brain capacity. As they say even Albert Einstein could use only 20-30% of his brain. Let's resolve not to waste our thoughts on useless porn or social media sites rather read a book better to write one and enjoy creativity.

You're 15 years old? Excellent, my friend. You're going to be fine once you buckle down and fight hard. It may take some time, but you'll win. You don't entirely have to cut out internet, though this may be something you want to look into if the addiction is too severe (at 15, doing this is easier than if you're a college student for example). I have k9 software installed and hidden using resource hacker (http://www.wikihow.com/Make-K9-Web-Protection-Invisible), which also essentially cuts off access to the administrative settings, even if you know the password (this only works if you are a standard user with an inaccessible administrative account on). If you need any more specifics on how to set this up, I'd be glad to lend a hand (I am only familiar with Windows and iPhones though). What I have is pretty airtight; I'd have to go to university computers to look at porn (or to reset my phone) and there's no way I'm doing that. The one thing I will caution against is to half ass your steps to block yourself from porn and incrementally improve as you find more loopholes. That can eat up years and you don't want that.

Keep strong, brother! I suggest you to use Self Control app. Block all "you-know-which-ones" sites - don't need to cut off internet at all. You solving your problem by using napalm. Use satellite guided missiles.

Be careful, you won't be able to access them even if you delete an app, restart your laptop or whatever.

First thing I do then turn on a computer - launch selfControl before urge takes me. Ahaha. Also I've stop wasting time at social media.

I am 40 years old and I have been addicted to porn for last 30 years.
When I was your age, we did not have internet, but had comics and magazines that did damage to me.
At the time, I spent all of my pocket money on them and after finishing I would throw them away out of guilt, but would buy it again next month.
I guess you can not throw away your PC everytime.
I just wish you could understand what my 30 years with porn has been like so that you would see what damage it would do to you.
Sorry I do not have any specific advice...
    Just fear for your future.

I guess we could have Discussion Place where young people can ask oldies like us what it means to live with porn addiction for long time.

Like this program where prisoners teach young offenders how scary the prison can be

  17. Just keep moving forward. Write down a list of all the longest streaks in your head and tell yourself that if you went those amounts of days without porn then you can do it again. Tell yourself this every single day whether that's writing it on a sticky note and placing it somewhere in your room or writing a friendly reminder on your phone. ANYONE can break their porn addiction if they really want to. NEVER GIVE UP NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU FAIL. Look bro I have failed way more times then you have and I have been watching porn constantly since I was a sophomore in high school. But when I finally decided to give it a shot and quit I knew it was going to be a rough battle and that it just wasn't going to end overnight. You have to keep working on it. Keep making your streaks longer and longer until you reach the goal that you want to reach. You can do it. I have been struggling to give this damn addiction up for a year now and I have NEVER given up no matter how many times I wanted too. Believe in yourself bro. You can do this man!!!!!!!

Okay, I'm 16 and have been addicted for about 6 years, so I know how you feel.

What you have to do is not just quit porn. You have to actually make changes to your life in order to break your habit. For example, I've started a Journal, workout daily, I've got a part time job as well as being at college, and I'm aiming to post in 5 other topics daily to help others. If you're not serious about beating this thing, you won't succeed.

Remember, NoFap isn't just about quitting PMO. It's also about improving our lives, and ourselves! So make some changes and start getting serious :)
