It was some days ago that I noticed that I am not getting rock hard while watching porn (Instagram incest memes), to which I am addicted, the night I did realized it, I also realized I have not been getting Morning woods even. Tried No pmo but relapsed after day 2 two times (only masturbation, no porn one time). When on nofap, my dick will shrivelled up and there are always wrinkles on the shaft. I don't know whether I have ed or pied. I entered flatline on day one. My dick feels numb. What is wrong with me?

Hi KT, there are plenty of posts on here about PIED. ED has probably being incorrectly mislabelled for years because most men would not admit to a doctor that their ED is because they watch a ton of shameful videos or whatever. So PIED is misunderstood and not diagnosed in the wider, real world anywhere near as much as it should be.

PIED is real, and if you think about the kind of things that you watch to masturbate to, are they anything like 'real sex' or 'intimacy'. Those are things we're genetically programmed to be aroused by. There are many reasons why PIED occurs really.

The way back is to forget all that artificial stuff, block it if you can, leave it behind. Focus on what's real, what is meaningful. Having a long enough break (or streak) will see your morning wood come back, and your appetite for real world, sexual connection instead of fake stuff. :emoji_muscle::emoji_metal:

  3. Your answer is in your post. The same thing happened to me, and to many other people.
This is correct. It's to do with what happens in your brain — there's an actual physical change.

The good news is that the brain can, and wants to, change back, but it can do so only if you let it.

As @Longtime27 says, you have to stop what you're doing.
You have to ask yourself a hard question: "Am I prepared to do whatever it takes to get better?"

Either you start NoFap, now, and keep it up, or you continue to get worse and worse.

Your very first step is to swear off porn forever. The monster in your brain will hate this, and will give you every excuse under the sun to take up porn again, but you can't listen to it!

That monster in your brain will give you excuse after excuse, day after day, week after week. I've been porn-free for over three years, and I still sometimes feel the urge to watch it. But I don't, because I know that it will cause problems.

Stop watching porn, and do the 90-day hard reboot. You will gradually start to recover your function. Your fetish will start to drop away.

Learn about flatline, because it will happen to you. You'll get a bit better, then you'll lose all libido. Then better some more, then lose your libido again. It might happen several times.

Flatline feels scary, but it's actually a good thing — every time it happens, it's a sign that your brain is busy fixing the worst damage.

I suggest that you start a new thread in the Reboot Logs section, where you can post a log of what you are going through. It can help to write down your feelings and experiences.

    Finally…

Get therapy. You became addicted for a reason, and then your addiction made the reasons worse. Get therapy to help with the reason why you got addicted in the first place, and to help with the subsequent extra problems.

    Good luck!
