Sex Addict

Hey guys,
My name's Victor and I am a recovering sex addict. Things are pretty good right now, but I've learnt to not kid myself and think that I will ever stop identifying myself that way. I'm giving recovery another go, more intensively than previously, and take nofap as one way to make that change happen. I fap to avoid dealing with suffering, whether it comes from guilt, anxiety, shame, or fear, and of course that tends to produce more suffering. I fantasize a lot too, based on porn (films, images, stories) or on sex apps and dating sites (grindr etc). It often starts innocently, and then before I know it hours have passed and I've disappointed friends and missed deadlines. I've also turned 26 recently, and I feel I need to become more mature and start dealing with the world directly rather than hiding in a cubicle or in my room to fap yet another time. I'm looking forward to staying sober for the next 90 days with the help of other motivated fapstronauts!
