So I finally understand the chaser effect. Last night I had sex with my wife breaking a 125 day streak. It's ok as I am only no PM at this point. But I immediately devolved into salacious dreams that I haven't had in months and had wood most of the night. This was followed up with a headache. This time it was very noticeable since the PAWS headaches are almost gone.

Previously sex just made the headaches worse. I think if I get to 180 days I might be headache free or close to it after sex.

How do your headaches feel? Can you describe them?

  3. I think you can have different problems, developed together with porn addiction. Maybe some kind of anxiety or guilt? You said that you break streak and started to give excuses. Don't you think it is okay to have sex with your partner? I think you should talk also with sexuologist and neurologist to check if you don't have health problems by any chance.

    Yes,
I have seen a neurologist and I got diagnosed with dystonia that I've had for decades undiagnosed. But since starting nofap my symptoms have nearly subsided. I think it's all connected.

I used to have them when chronic from the occipital region. Now after four months of nofap I get frontal lobe headaches. But they are acute and resolve quickly as apposed to my wanking days when they were chronic.

  6. When you mean headache do you mean pressure sensation? Like a dull, numb feeling?

    Yes,

That's exactly it. I had chronic migraines for years, but this is different. I think I never associated it with sex before since I had bad chronic headaches. Now that they are resolving I'm getting the weird pressure sensation and numbness.

Why do you still have it? I thought that it was resolving?

Yes it's resolving, but I'm coming back from 25 years of sex addiction. I am much more sympathetic to opioid addicts after 4 months of PAWS. This is an addiction pure and simple. It wreaks havoc in your body like any other addiction.
