Sexting Your SO

As far as the science side goes (dopamine soakage etc.), I'm not really sure. We have men on here more qualified to speak on that.
However, from a relationship standpoint, there are many benefits to sharing pictures. In a distance relationship, it helps to keep intimacy alive. It keeps partners focused on each other. It adds a physical element that men especially are enticed by, and can serve to bring both parties closer to each other. Those are all good things-- of course, all in moderation.
If you're trying not to jerk it, though, it's probably best to avoid it. If you get your mind in that sexual modality, it's going to want a sexual release. That's just biological. If you don't want to give it that release through masturbating, then you're going to have a hard time pulling yourself out of that sexual mode you put yourself in because you've been sexting back and forth.
Your choice, I can qualify either way. I think the best circumstance for sexting is foreplay to a sexual encounter that is planned and will happen later. But of course, you can't really control when your girl sends you her nudes.
And I'm sure you're not really going to complain either.

 

I don't send dirty pics as a general rule because that kinda stuff always comes back to haunt you eventually.
But I do sext my bf every now and then. I see no problem in having a strong sexual relationship with JUST your SO. Although I've been trying to avoid sex for religious reasons.
