Sexual conditioning and PE

    Here is my story (I am currently 23), a few years ago my girlfriend got baptised... so I went very being sexually active to sexually inactive (except from on the rare occasion). It was after this point that my PMO use increased from its "normal" habit to a more persistent problem with PMO happening multiple times a day, which then left me with PIED and PE which brought me to NoFap!

    So then after numerous attempts I finally managed to stick out a 6-7 month hard mode reboot. This was great, the ED had gone and I had more confidence and more energy due to the extra exercise I was doing and the better sleep I was having. However the PE still remained and is confidence crippling especially as I never used to have PE (when I was sexually active).

    So in the mind set "what difference does it make I still have PE", I relapsed into occasional MO, then into occasional PMO, then regular PMO and so on(this took place over about 6 months). Although I am not back where I started (with ED), I feel that I will be if I dont change my ways. Over the last month ive had a couple of 7 days streaks but then relapse and binge, so now its time to get fully involved and committed to rebooting again so I am posting on this forum to once again be part of the support group. Ive also been watching more YBOP video and researching more this time to properly understand whats going on in my head instead of just not PMO'ing.

    Im happy at the moment focusing on hard-mode for as long as I need, but at some point in this reboot journey I need to find out how to cure my PE as it is CRUSHING. I think what I did when I started PMO'ing regularly was sexually condition myself to orgasm quickly as I would always PMO quickly before work or PMO quickly before going out or PMO quickly in the bathroom. I need to figure out how to change this and get some control back as I have NONE.

    I know I have the will power to stick to a long reboot and I just need to figure out how to solve the PE issue and ill be free.

    I relate a lot to what you're saying, I'm currently near the end of a 90 day hard mode reboot. I think this time abstaining is important mostly because of how it affects you psychologically. You get a lot of time to reflect on what you were doing, what you want to be doing when you're cured etc. And then when you have a good idea on what things you did that were wrong, you can start putting in conscious effort into fixing each one of them. I'll try and make a list of some bad practises I was doing, hopefully that can help others make their own.

    Physiological:
    - Quick and intense stimulation, gets super fast when near orgasm
    - Usually just with 2 fingers, only on the head, moving the foreskin back and forth (nothing like real life stimulation from a girl)
    - Always dry, never used any lube

    Psychological:
    - At first, everything was super fast. It was centered around me getting very aroused very quickly and just kept escalating until I orgasm. Real sex isn't like that - it's not about the destination, it's about the journey.
    - Later on, since I enjoyed so much those 5 minutes of over-stimulating porn, I started edging. And eventually I started doing hours of just jumping from video to video getting into really taboo things just trying to see where's the limit. Spending hours over-saturating my dopamine receptors was not the best idea, when I think about it now...
    - The porn made me get turned on only by 'imaginary girls'. Meaning if I try to masturbate thinking of a friend of mine, who's a real person, and not a sex bomb porn star, I can't get aroused. I think having feelings for someone puts you in a completely different mind state than when you're looking at porn.

    You can work out a list like this for yourself. Then it's very easy to look at each item on the list and think what do I do to fix this.
