Shemale and Gay porn, how many addicted?

Discussion in 'Problematic Sexual Behavior' started by SpringWater, Apr 23, 2019.

  1. I think that transphobia was what might have caused me to become addicted to this genre. I felt guilt in watching something I hate and I was also checking if I was aroused by it or not. Thankfully it is disappearing now.

What I like about this post is that rather than insisting on simplistic binary (either straight or gay, either man or woman) thinking you recognize that attraction happens on many levels and that that's perfectly fine. Men who identify as straight can find another guy handsome or even attractive and men who identify as gay can find a woman pretty or even sexy. It's fine -- and it's normal since life and nature are FULL of variations.

Not that I encourage you to go "see" a transgender person (not done so myself but for me it would be an FTM guy, not a chick with dick); it's that you recognize the dehumanizing aspects of porn and prostitution while being at peace with the facts of attraction, fantasy, and men-and-women-are-not-all-THAT-different-ness of life! Way to go!

I agree how we should be accepting of our desires to a certain extent

The thing is..this current trend of people being sexual attracted( not just admitting that someone of the same sex is s good looking person) is bring amplified by porn and the culture.

Twenty years ago the number of straight guys that would consider another guy or a trans guy sexually attractive would be very few.

We are being conditioned now to find this sexually attractive..it’s basically being thrust upon us, against our will...because we aren’t told how porn really is a drug, how it causes escalation, how we start wanting more extreme to get that same high we got when we started.

It’s like saying during heroine is normal. It’s not. But if you start drinking too much, hang out with the wrong crowd, maybe start pot and some pills...next thing you know you are doing the really hard stuff.

The new culture is trying to warp our minds, saying everything is good, we are all the same..it’s not and we aren’t.

But when this trend ends, which it will, they all do, a lot of people will be left in the wake, confused and damaged.

Though the sex-drug analogy is imperfect (especially because good sex directly tied to good love) I get your point about what is healthy and what is not. However, I do not go for implicit nostalgia, nor am I prone to the blame game (surprisingly perhaps, since I live in the US, likely earth's most litigious society ever, by far).

First off, except in dreams, we cannot cherry-pick those elements of our mostly-forgotten past that we imagine more wholesome. By-gone decades may not have had our particular challenges, but they had many others that, such that humanity as a whole suffered greatly throughout history (and used drugs, presumably to self-medicate, throughout). We have advanced, and so have our challenges.

When it comes to sexuality, the liberation of the 60s, and the "confusion" of the postmodern era may just have allowed us to move beyond leave simplistic, uninformed, untested, and unchallenged ideas and assumptions (handy for procreation as they may have been) and we've been learn a great many things about ourselves (even while the world population continues to balloon). Rather than fearing the result and hankering for simpler, more rigid, more traditional, less questioning times, I think the present age with its ubiquitous information sharing and boundary testing and showing and telling... will end up allowing us to demystify the unchallenged simplicities of the past and gain a more realistic, mature, and inclusive understanding of love and sex, which are so endemic to the human condition and which can be expressed in so very many ways. I find today's youth far more open but no less sane; turns out their humanity is largely intact after all!

The question is what do we do with our new knowledge of ourselves? What will we learn from it? Maybe we'll opt for a Victorian stance on sex. Personally, I actually think it belongs in a traditional marriage after all. But I do think an informed, even spiritually informed stance is needed. No "just because" rules of the 19th century yesteryear, no "do as I say, not as i do: as the 20th century ambivalence. Light is good, darkness not so much. In the Netherlands, where they medically regulate prostitution and think it a normal fact of life, I understand that HIV rates are well _below_ that of the surrounding countries that practice varying degrees of street-corner-sex tabooism. And so we experiment, we learn, we discover, we decide, and we know more in the end. We'll learn to _choose_ what really matters to us, however hard-earned the experience.

    Nice chatting!

I think we are just descending into more and more chaos, probably by design to control us or for some other “conspiracy” reason.

We are too caught up in hedonistic pursuits. There is a reason we need order and structure.

I’m not sure how old you are, maybe you are my age or older, if so you have seen the patterns people and society goes through and can realize the logic of my position.

Thanks for the rebuttal, nhcd always to have intellectually stimulating conversation.

Hey thanks for giving me hope, I tend to get nihilistic in my thinking when I see so many that are so self serving and focused only on “what feels good”.

You have a good head on your shoulders for 18, you will go far bro.

I have been thinking more on what you wrote and what I wrote...I think you touched on something with the “love” concept.

This new phenomenon of “anything goes” and “no gender” stuff is about selfish desires..not love.

Do we ever see anyone post on here about falling in love with a transgender..or being straight and then falling in love with a guy?

    It’s about sexual conditioning instead.

I reread what you wrote..if you look at history, lots of societies have gone through what we are going through now. A good example is even Austria in the late 19th century.

    They all fall.

Because chaos unchecked turns into total anarchy..which leaves a power vacuum which is filled by a “savior” who turns the whole society into an authoritarian one for its own good..to regain stability.

Hence all dictators that rise to power.

yeah, i too enjoy an exchange of ideas! for instance, i appreciate your reference to societal control. one need not be dan brown to suspect that the condition of much of humanity is, to some extent, consciously allowed to exist...
    still i think that:
    * we can only go _through_ the transformations currently afoot ... and that to bemoan it or wish for yesteryear or even to be fearful about it does not change that we have to go through it by learning as we go. such is history. nofap is a part of that process.
    * as to whether there is a single-most-important aspect to the current changes that one can agree on: i doubt it. one person might bemoan sexual laxness -- and there is that -- but another may find it more alarming that the military-industrial complex eats up most of our resources, or that medical/public health costs are 3x in the US than they are elsewhere, or that that US education, already mediocre, is in complete disarray, or that so very many people practice escapism (chemically and otherwise) rather than to serve society, or that the earth is being poisoned to death, that over half of humanity lives in hungry poverty, that there are dozens of smaller-scaled wars going on... etc. cherry-picking an issue as "the" issue that defines the chaos of our time...is a little problematic to me.
    * _all_ civilizations come and go, ebb and flow... the reasons are many and often have to do with conquest, disease, natural disaster, revolt, mismanagement, corruption, envy, divine chastisement, and moral decay, among others. civilizations simply have life cycles and it may well be that since our age is so quick to change, our cycle is shorter.
    * today, our sexual inclinations are flapping in the wind and by the time we figure out what it all means we will have raised our awareness of ourselves and be in a better position to act not out of fear but out of understanding (which is essentially the same point as the first of these 4). meanwhile we should try to understand the human condition better; we live in a cauldron of "new data" so to speak.

Brother SW, it is a pleasure to converse. I appreciate that your words are thoughtful. We may approach things from "half full" versus "half empty" viewpoints, but that doesn't make 'm any less worthwhile.

    Cheers!

TS got me and I thought it'd never be possible. Then along came one or two that I found very voluptuous... had certain...
"talents" (being careful here not to trigger others or me)... said to myself "ummm, I guess...just real quick I'll peak."

Then it over time happened more and more...ultimately I collected a saved video collection...I'd say about 1/3 almost is TS oriented.
I haven't logged into that site in 3 weeks (YES!)

I had a quasi encounter... 'she' (is quotes disrespectful? not trying to be a douche--apologies)... I was at an adult cinema...I needed some dopamine...some kind of connection...was feeling hella aggravated and YOLO, too.

I'll skip what I want to say b/c I'm really trying to not "speak it up" and go anti-therapeutic here...

but in short... she (no quotes this time)... i stood nearby..almost next to her...someone else i think was getting a little frisky with her chest..
and suddenly she grabbed my junk for a bit... later on hugged (really struggling here for the record to keep it PG with my pent up sexual energy)... and asked where my gf was at and if I needed "a hand"..

Like others may have said... for me... some for real look crazy passable until you do a triple take... and whelp...
hot bod with female curves... less of that natural female drama... way more promiscuous and will do things like junk grab, grind, etc. make the first move.... things you wish natural women would just do so we don't have to do the "do you like me? do you think i'm charming?" back n forth stuff.

And they seem to (going by XXX) know what they're doing (again, keeping it PG)

The organ down there isn't my thing at all. The times I've seen it "utilized" (to put it nicely)... I was like "ummm, nah...fast forward please" .

its funny how many people (including here) are so horrified by the possibility of being "slightly bi/gay" because of transgender atraction and delve into a world of conspiracy, yet refer to their expirience with escorts as just a casual modern thing..
so it seems, like being with a consenting transperson who is not an escort is more shaming to you than to be with a woman who is escort (and by that to 'help' to ruin her life) ?

why the sexual orientation is more scary to you than sexual exploitation?

first of all, lets stop with consuming pornography and escorts, lets stop consuming people as sexual products and instead lets learn to create real intimacy based on friendship trust love and respect. i think this is the key point here.

look, i dont know what world you live in, but you are surounded with bisexuals/bi-curious/fluid people all around you, they are just silent about it.
10 years ago i served in the army (madatory here), the amount of disturbing gay harassments i had to face on myself / witness what others had.. you know why? because its bully closet gay men who feel that its a place isolated from society's law and inhibations, that its all about power status.

and transporn barely existed back then, i didnt knew that it was a thing back then .

  20. These people are just mentally ill men. I do not think it is proper to allow these men to disfigure themselves by becoming so called "women". What's worse is our liberal western society says it's ok and keeps allowing them to have gender reassignment surgeries, pushing trans porn, and propaganding this whole movement. This just shows our society is on the verge of falling apart. Btw everything starts at the top, so those are the people pushing this entire agenda.
