    Hey guys,
I just joined this website today and would like to give a brief introduction of myself.
I am The_Fisher, my name in RL is actually also fisher^^
I am 27 years old, and still a student at uni studying physics. I am quite passionate about science, the beauty of the universe, philosophy, traveling the world and many other things.
I joined, because I would like to become more in control of my sexual desires. I often feel that I am not in control of my thoughts and I am quite addicted to porn and especially masturbation. I tried a few times to take a longer brake from it, but failed. I hopethat being part of a community with more like minded people can be helpful. Anyways, I will check out the forum and have a look at it more, good night^^

Don't worry we both got this
I'm dealing with the same problem here and I started Nofap today as well!
Let's hope that we can both stop this horrid addiction :emoji_thumbsup:

That is an interesting question. What fascinates me about Fibonacci numbers is especially that the shape of the Fibonacci spiral is beautiful and can be found in nature at many places: The shape of our galaxy, the shape of our ear, the shape of hurricans etc. I have know idea why that is the case, but its really cool. Also did you know that if you take two following fibonacci numbers (1,1,2,3,5,8...) and divide it by its previouse number for exapmbe 3/2= 1.5, 5/3=1.6, 13/8= 1.625 etc, you get closer and closer to the golden ratio? So there is a somewhat mysterious link between the golden ration and the fibonacci numbers. Its kinda hard to tell, but at the moment I suppose I am more fascinated by Fibonacci numbers than the golden ratio, because they have more mysterious properties as far as I know.

Fractals, well one thing that strikes me as very interesting is that among cosmologist the notion of a multiverse (that is that our universe is part of a larger collection of many universes) is extremely wides spread and apparanently the multiverse that comes out of many calculations has the shape of a fractal. Now I dont know if there is any truth to the existence of a multiverse, but that apparently a fractal emerges naturally from the physical equations used to describe it seems very interesting to me.
