This is my 19th day clean. I've just had a massive craving and ended up looking at some pics on Google Images for 2 minutes, but I didn't jerk off.

My fuck-buddy has been wanting to hook up with me for a long time now. I would really enjoy fucking her, but I'm concerned if my dick will work as it normally does.

How can I test that my dick is fully functional before I meet with my side chick? I really wanna fuck!

Probably the best test that your stuff is in all working order and, more importantly, that your brain is resetting to proper reward/feedback loops, is a wet dream. It sounds really weird to say, but...it works!

  3. Then go smash, that'll be the ultimate test if your dick works. Do not test your erection by looking up porn or edging. It'll affect your reboot. Trust me.

I suggest trying to brush off the "perfectionist" mentality on performance. I don't know how much issues you had in your past, but you might need a little time getting into the groove again with female intimacy. You can test the waters with a fair amount of foreplay. If things are working as they should, you can have more confidence from that.

  6. Well that was the end of your 19 days clean. But even if you had 21 days clean by now, the worst thing you can do is test your dick. You (and all of us) are sexually overstimulated. Your dick really isn't the issue, it will be fine. Your brain is the problem. And it needs a rest! a few weeks is neither here nor there. Recovery will take several months. Be patient, OK?

Yea, I agree. I don't think stimulation by non-natural means will help here. It is the brain that's the problem. Edging or looking up pictures will hinder progress. I used to be worried too if it worked or not prior to having sex with my wife, and it's a trap that never works. Just go with the flow and have confidence!
