Should I MO? (No urges)

    I've been doing nofap for one year now, and I've had a couple of relapses. One thing I've noticed on this journey is that I've rarely had any urges to PMO or MO.

    Recently, I kind of wish I had some urges so that I can practice self-control, and so I could finally try and feel the "superpowers" of nofap. Because recently, it's like I've been stuck in a rut and nothing is changing. No urges, no libido, no interest in having sex.

    Would it be a bad idea to MO and see if this leads to restart in libido? I would MO to only sensations, no P or fantasy. It's getting annoying to be in a flatline for so long...

    Couple of relapses in a year? Wow, many of us here relapse twice every week! Since you are only at day 66, you might be going through flat lines. I assume they get longer as you have more days without PMO. MOing might backfire. You never know what would happen if you did. Wait for few days and you will feel better. The lack of motivation might also be also related to something else like not living an active life, eating junk food, sugar addiction etc.

    I sincerely with the bottom of my heart believe that MO is not good for you psychologically. Sure, the actual release may be no different than sex, but I guarantee you will feel clouded and drowsy afterwards. Why? Because in order to masturbate, you could find yourself fantasizing about sex. Sure, it is possible to masturbate without fantasy... but you're seriously playing with fire. Even if you don't fantasize, I say that masturbation is pointless. It will make you tired for one. Semen release has been linked towards releasing serotonin in the brain, and this makes you feel sleepy. Really, sex with a permanent partner is the best way to ejaculate. I recommend doing a quick burst of exercise in order to feel active, or a cold shower. They help a lot!
