Should I Move Colleges?

We CAN Do This!

Fapstronaut
I have a pretty big dilemma.

I’m pretty happy at my current college. The only thing is it’s in a run down town and the people really aren’t the kind of people I’d usually hang round with. They’re more, I don’t know how to say, maybe chavvy? A lot of bad people from my secondary school went there, so I’m always near them on the bus etc. And I really don’t like them to be honest.

I’m starting to feel like I really don’t fit in at that college. None of my original friends went there.

Now today, my best friend suggested I move to the college he attends. It’s in Lincoln (UK), and would take me the same amount of time to get there each day. I’d be studying the exact same subject, but according to my friend, the People have much more in common with us. It’s also in a really nice city, and I’d be with my best friend too.

I know this is a decision only I can make, but I’d like some input from the trusted NoFap community.

Basically, should I stay or should I go?

Although university is primarily for studying, a major part of the experience is the social environment. Having a social environment you enjoy can be a great thing to have to counteract stress, boredom, etc.

I think you should transfer, if both schools allow you to keep your current progress, and see how you like it. It may be a great experience for you that you won't regret, although of course the decision is up to you.

Are you in college to socialize or earn a degree?

Get a Level 3 Qualification (I assume you don't live in the UK). But I feel that the behavior of people on my current course could have an effect on the way i learn and work. I want a balanced environment where I get along with the people around me but can also focus easily on completing all tasks to the set deadlines.

Thanks for your advice, much appreciated :)

I may indeed not regret it, but I keep thinking, what if I do? What if I hugely regret it? Because once I change college's there's no going back.
