Should I tell her about my addiction?

  1. I have no idea should I tell my girlfriend about my reboot, to explain my low libido.

I'm soon 21 and about a month ago I started to date my girlfriend. And the intimacy with her made me realise I can't get hard with her without thinking about porn.
So, I started my challenge "no porn, no masturbation". Later, when I was looking if other people had similar issues as i did, I got to know about PIED and NoFap.
I'm currently in my flatline, but it's ok for now, as we both have exams and decided to spend our entire time revising. But if it won't end by the end of exams, I have no idea what to tell. I've been using porn to cope with stress and just get away from the problems since I was 13,so there's a possibility that I will need more time to heal...

I have the same issue. My girlfriend a physical specimen. Shes almost 6 feet tall, long hair, large chested and thin. She erotic and physically perfect and yet I was having issues. I had to think of porn scenes or pretend in my mind that we were in one.

Yesterday I had a marathon porn session only to realize I wasted most of the day. I am quitting for good.

After that session I felt so bad about myself I deleted the archive of porn and wiped the whole drive and reinstalled the OS. I hate feeling this way

  3. I'm sure you'll be able to do it! It's been a whole week I've decided to go full hard mode for January and it's hard, but I know I need this. You have this whole community to help you to go through this journey. It's going to be hard, especially if you'll hit the flatline. Be aware of it and don't panic. Read some threads and article about it.(I panicked really much when one day I woke up with feeling of nothingness in my pants:emoji_confounded:) You're always welcome to drop a message to me, if you'll need someone to talk. Though I might answer with delay, my exams are starting and I can't check my phone too often

I guess it depends what her reaction might be. If you think she is more open minded and you are comfortable it could really help to tell her eventually about your struggles. I wouldn't say I'm addicted, but tell her you want to stop because it's not benefiting you and you want better intimacy with her. She could help keep you accountable and it would be less embarrassing. I'm a girl but I told m bf and he was supportive. He never told me I needed to stop but because I wanted to stop he wanted to help me in any way possible. Hopefully she'd respond similarly
