Should we avoid green and white tea because of the caffeine?

Hi there folks,

Just wondering.. Because we want to give our brain some rest from all the things that increase dopamine in an artificial way, we should caffeine. But i like green and white tea, so... In white and green tea there is also caffeine..

Should we avoid this tea?

I stopped drinking tea longer time ago, I was getting pimples from tea and then really it gave me more negative effects,
you should just learn to enjoy water and look forward it's health benefits.

I don't use anymore also dairy for longer time already, I pick almond milk instead and it have been much better that way and
especially for my stomach, it can be only felt when you stop and you feel much better, it goes for dairy, tea and coffee.

Almond milk is awesome, I have stomach issues and milk and dairy products would always upset my Crohns disease. The almond milk my girlfriend suggested is a godsend. And it's really quite good too.

there will be withdrawal symptoms once you stip drinking tea. i certainly had.
eating alot of yogurt with some sugar helped me get over the caffeinne cravings.
also i must say that caffeinne is not so bad if you dont consume it after noon ( that way it does not affect your ability to fall asleep ).
caffeinne and tea in modration has alot of beneficial effects too.

The caffeine is bad even when it could feel good, it's addictive stuff....

Haham i just stopped using sugar because that also gives your brain a shot of dopamine. I believe the fact we enjoy sugar is not because we like the taste, but the sweet taste is just our brain telling us to give us more (dopamine) since i stopped using sugar about a month ago (relapsed 3 times) i don't feel the need to have sugar. For instance, yesterday we were dining with all the family, everyone was eating cupcakes, desserts, sugar food all over the place. I really did not feel the urge to eat it because i did not want it. But at one moment is started thinking about how tasty it is.. BOOM, i craved.. I did not fall for the brain fooling me, but i noticed how longer i do not eat it, how more common it get. So big lesson, don't fantasies how tasty it

So the best is to stop all the artificial stimulation for as long as your reboot requires. And then, i guess, after such a long time abstinence from artificial stimulation, your body don't craves for it and therefor you dont need it..

Yes, it's also best to do research and then find out about everything that you intake and it's okay for food to increase dopamine levels by 50%,
but if you want to get enough sugar for your body you can eat fruits and for me when it comes to eating for example
anything with sugar makes me feel like it's too extremely sweet while others while others such things will find ''not so sweet'',
yet it later on affects the energy levels and you will feel tired in the end of the day much more from such things.

I'm doing intermittent fasting with a eat window of 2 a 3 hours a day and try to consume mainly healthy fats and litte carbs and protein. Keto style diet is the name. I feel really great by doing that.. But idd, all the food increases dopamine..For that reason, I do a 4 water fast every month.. Just to train my mind.

I stopped all caffeine a few years ago. Now I might have a coffee or green/black tea once or twice a month. Otherwise I stick to herbal tea, sometimes decaf coffee. You might have some withdrawal but when you get through it your focus get better, less anxiety too.

Green tea helps with the dopamine production, it's only 20 mg caffeine per cup. 1-2 cups per day is fine.

Then again caffeine can cause anxiety and panic attacks, also other problems as the increased cardiovascular risk.

I strongly go against very unhealthy and addictive things, as you will probably consume tea it will be increased amount of the sugar which could lead to pimples or other problems that you would start to noticed and also lack of energy too.

- Forgot to point out, the caffeine when it came to moderate drinkers [1-3] cups per day had increased the chance to get cardiovascular disease almost the same as heavy caffeine drinkers, so it means even 20mg will still be bad and you still try to depend on substance which isn't needed and most likely for just your own pleasure.

Haha, about that anxiety. It's quite stupid, when i was a heavy coffee drinker i had much more problems regarding to anxiety etc. I just wasn't able to quit haha. Same for sugar and social media en energy drinks.

So now i'm done with it all i feel so much more relaxed.. The relaxed feeling i guess i was always looking for haha.
But then again, now, when i feel relaxed, i think... AAAAH, i can have some sugar of coffee.. I will stay strong, but it's so strange to me that i know for sure it had such a bad effect on my mood but when i feel fine again, i start thinking i can use it again..

A small amount of caffeine really isn't that bad for you, unless you're someone who has a particularly bad reaction to caffeine and can't handle even a small amount. I don't see anything wrong with drinking tea if you love it. Hell, o drink coke 24/7, so you're better off than me, that's for sure. I've tried to quit drinking soda plenty of times, and I know I can do it, but it just comes down to the fact that I don't want to. I am pretty healthy in most other ways, and soda is basically my one vice, so I would rather not give up everything I enjoy just for the sake of trying to attain perfect health that will never be perfect anyway. But that's just me.
