Does anyone know where I could find some studies or look at legitimate papers that have studied and researched semen retention or the effects of ejaculating properly? I'm not sold on the whole "never ejaculate again" practice some people here have. I think there is some kind of happy balance that can be achieved, so I'd like to learn more from real studies if possible, thanks if anyone can help!

Sadly science society doesn't care much about stuff like that, what you found about it is what we know.Take it or leave it.The happy balance are the wet sheets once in a while when you have wet dream.

That seems like a personal issue. People have reported that abstinence helps with meditation, lucid dreaming and astral protection

One thing I've learned from starting nofap is that our body doesn't even produce that much semen. It's the repetitiveness and edging that makes us blast like a mfer.. I think a lot of us use this 'masturbation is necessary for our health' argument to justify our addictions. Try two weeks of monk mode and then you'll see when you break your fast, it won't even be that much semen.

There are no trials on this and therefore no evidence. You can always do an experiment on urself tho

Retention does not have any science to back it up because it is not real. Most if not all of the benefits people experience are psychological.

  12. Nobody’s trying to sell you nofap and its benefits, nobody gets paid if you start doing it. Just the title of your post is a little arrogant to begin with, as if those that do believe in its benefits have to prove to you. You are free to try it or not and see for yourself.

I am sure, you cant find many articles on semen retention benefits . But i can promise that's the benefits is true.

I wonder what will be that factor may caused my PE, ED? Malnutrition? No. I am well nourished from childhood. I am foodie and atheist. So i eat all kinds meats, veggies.

I wonder what will be that factor may caused poor vision? Genetics? My mom, dad, grandparents none of them wear spectacles. Dad and Mum is 70 plus.

I wonder what will be that factor may caused poor hair growth? Genetics? My dad have lot of body hairs

Besides this i have/had poor digestion, UTI, Hard to start urination, Poor sleep, Poor memory etc... I can attribute all of these to my chronic M and P.

Recently for almost 5 months i started to NoFap and clearly observe i am getting better. Of course, there is not a big miracle happened. But sure there was lot of changes. Especially no more UTI.

    "Show me researched evidence that..."
Usually, when this question is linked to anything spiritual, it opens up a never-ending series of questions and arguments between believers and non-believers, ending in anger and frustration.
Sexual Transmutation is a spiritual journey for those who make themselves available to experience it - usually when you have become more mature in life and love. If you don't believe it exists, that is your choice and with that choice dies a wonderful journey of unleashing true masculine energy into all areas of your life.
For those interested, I highly recommend Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" Chapter 11.

What I have seriously noticed, and this is no coincidence, is that after about 7 days of retention it is as if women are generally much more interested - they keep eye contact longer, sometimes turn around to have another look at me or generally smile longer or without specific reason when talking to me - in a flirty sort of way. I am married, in my forties and generally not unattractive, but this sort of behavior is nothing I have seen before. Much have been said about this topic and many don’t believe it exists, but I firmly believe that women somehow sense when a man has retained his sexual energy for a while and they find it very attractive without knowing why. It kind of makes sense that they do in a primal way, although I don’t know how it works. It certainly is very real!

Don't you think the fact that you can get painful blue balls is a pretty clear indicator that the body needs to expel semen?

My view is that, if the body is constantly stimulated sexually by unnatural sources such as porn, it craves an unhealthy (and unnatural) amount of sexual activity - hence the "blue balls". My experience has been that this symptom completely ceases once your brain and body reach normalcy - in other words, once you have rewired yourself. Men do not need x amount of sexual encounters in order to stay healthy. You can go for months without ejaculation with no negative side-effects at all, given that you do not engage in stimulating the old brain pathway that you are trying to rewire. Blue balls are merely the symptom of over-stimulation. If blue balls were a serious health issue, the concept of Karezza would not have attracted so much attention and would not have been practiced by so many couples.

Well yes, after my break up and before NoFap, I used to masturbate only to aliviate the pain. Now I just let wet dreams happen.

I wonder how sexual performance in real life changes after your come out from hard mode. Are you able to last for minutes or it's just seconds and you are done after months in hard mode :)
