Shower :Hot or Cold Or Both

I usually bathe with cold water but due to extreme weather conditions i first bathe with hot water and then gradually decrease its temperature till max will it have same affect as cold shower , or should i with to old school

cold leaves you with a better feeling imo. But for washing i use warm then turn it down to cold
