Simple breath technique for anxiety and other troubling emotions

    simple breath technique


    just breath in , then exhale, then let the next inhale happen naturally, without controlling it in any way, don't hold the breath out, or deliberately inhale. in the gap between the exhale and inhale, notice the deeper emotion underneath the anxiety etc, at first you may feel a bit worse, but then you may get sadness tears or anger, shock or whatever.you will feel better after this.

    stay with it, and then when you've had enough, lie down if you get the chance, and relax to integrate the work you've done.

    also you could sit down cross-legged, maybe on a phone directory to support your back, and do the same thing, you will notice your top of your legs ache, just breathe into this,surrender to it, and gradually it will go and return in waves, don't strain yourself, just do what feels right.

    Thanks, yes it's definitely very powerful, I don't do it enough, as I do several other things to, so fit it in now and again. I got it from a guy I met through another friend, he does systemic family constellation work too, and integrative restoration, which are brilliant as well.have a look at the website - www.beyondgroup.co.uk

    try it.it really works, you can do this anywhere, at work, on the train, bus, walking down the road.

    Try this, it works, underneath your anxiety, loneliness, depression, anger, or whatever is another emotion, that comes out in the gap between the out breath and the next in breath.Has helped me enormously.
